yes he did but we have never dropped interest so think we still maybe chasing him never know with deadline days.
I think it's very possible that the winger Baz previously described as fitting straight in is one that we've now moved on from, for the time being at least. That one was also a permanent and supposedly the one we're actively chasing now (or at least a few hours ago, it might've changed again by now) is a loan.
No one should feel it is a bit of a letdown after what they have done this window, even if they brought in someone from the red lion inn.
Key position though isn't it? It'd just fly in the face of what's been hinted at by Baz and the club. I'm sure they wouldn't be building expectation if they weren't confident of getting someone ready to start. Besides, it's not him anyway.
Baz has apparently said he's not an active target at the moment. And he barely plays and isn't yet match fit after injury. No point bringing someone in for 18 games and it takes 6 to get him up to speed. Reckon he'd be a summer type signing if we're still interested.
I imagine we will play with Philogene and Carvalho as the wide options with Tufan playing behind Sharp. Ohio to come on to stretch defences late on. Omar will be eased in but could slot in for Tufan. The new winger will allow us to put Carvalho in behind Sharp/Ohio as an option.
