This morning's war crime, because cutting UNRWA funding isn't doing enough... On the subject of Israel and hospitals, I think we can guess where the next "Hamas tunnels" are going to be "found"... UPDATE Funny how the press coverage is trying to pretend it wasn't in the West Bank, isn't it?
Just a thought, Tories: have you considered literally any other option other than kvetching into the void about easily-avoided things?
Any room for him in one of those Ugandan jails he has a distinctly odd fixation on...? Maybe if he read the judgment, eh?
Our town was a safe labour seat 60s 70s and 80s then labour central office tried to act smart and bring in a poster boy ousting the local left leaning candidate and the town swung to the right and has never returned, could be tight this year as the outgoing mp has done sweet fa for a couple of years while the town dies on its arse
With the latest Post-Brexit pain about to land on the UK I decided to revisit the start of this thread back in Jan '16. There were some really well-engaged, polite debates back then on some really contentious subjects like Brexit and Trump - even religion early on! Many of the posters back then are still around (some with different names) and it would be interesting to find out if attitudes had changed in the past 8 years. Unfortunately, two frequent posters NSIS and LennyPops have not been around for a while, although I imagine both would likely have been in the 'I told you so' group.
Interesting developments in Ulster. DUP claiming they have received assurances from Westminster that the 'border conditions' of the Windsor Framework have been removed. However, Donaldson is the only one to have seen the deal and what he is claiming to have been offered (including £3bn in funding for NI) doesn't appear to have been cleared with the EU - and difficult to see how it would be compatible.
Leaving the house and then realising that your door keys are still on your bedside cabinet is a mistake Sniping somebody through the head knowing they're being interviewed on camera is about as much a mistake as Amy out of The Big Bang Theory posting a livestream of herself cackling at Ricky Gervais' genocidal cousin
Good luck being Foreign Secretary when you get caught bullshitting like that, Lammy... And on that subject, let's hear from the wannabe Chancellor...
Labour appear intent on disenfranchising their Muslim supporters and destroying their GE election prospects without any help from either the Tories or the Tory Paymasters in the RW media Their position (or lack of) on Palestine, be it a 2-State solution or calls for a Ceasefire, is ridiculously self-harming and totally avoidable. I cannot come up with any rationale for this stupidity other than the fact that they are so scared of showing any support for Palestine and giving the Tories any opportunity to scream 'Corbyn antisemitism' at them that they are taking a polarised position. I can't help concluding that the latter outcome would have been infinitely preferable and given them some degree of integrity.
You boy, are you a Pharmacist? I need a colonoscopy urgently , what next , Timpsons for Root canal work or Gregg's for a hernia repair
In other news, turns out that Simon Harris is a bit of a git I know I've ragged on him plenty on this board in the last couple of years due to some of the hissy fits he's posted when the Bottlers do what they always do, but the bloke did plenty for charity not least fundraising for the RNLI so there would be a lifeboat named in "honour" of the Waffling Gargoyle patrolling the English Channel looking to rescue stranded migrants - only for it to turn out he pocketed over £350k of public money when running Facebook groups for the local council during Lockdown
Maybe don't post videos of yourself cackling at a comedian whose routine consists of them saying "Yeah, we're murdering civilians, isn't that hilarious?" Then again, she was on The Big Bang Theory, which surely warped what the concept of what is funny be in her head...
