Veganism is an interesting thing. To be honest I agree completely with all the moral and ethical points of it. I just like meat and cheese too much <laugh>

I used to like the veggie haggis that the guy who owned Taste of Scotland used to do. Used to microwave it and stick it in a bread...cake.

Veggie haggis? GTF, I have some iron pyrite for sale, as good as the 'real thing' and a bargain at only $2043 an ounce. :emoticon-0125-mmm:

I prefer proper haggis obv but the veggie version was really good. Nice and peppery, texture was right and flavour really good.

    Pretty common actually (or similar)

Vegan restaurants had a ready made audience a few years ago when ‘normal’ places had little or no vegan options, so people would travel and go out to the limited places they could.

Now there are more vegans and more people who will occasionally eat veggie options rather than just meat so ‘normal’ places started doing vegan options as it became cost effective.
Therefore vegans can go anywhere which meant vegan only places lost customers.

This story is really just the reverse of Sizzler pubs doing vegan burgers IMHO

Must be tough in hospitality at the moment whatever you cook

I liked it even when I still ate meat tbh.

    Scotch maybe helps though…
