chris, i agree completely. i think we been playing crap on purpose until now just to let everyone think its safe to forget us. obviously a big club like us are seen as everyones cup final so they up their game against us (apart from shrewsbury evidently as they bottled it again against us). now we are where we are in the table, we can quietly sneak up the table just like we did in our promotion season and of course shrews will bottle it again in the play offs like they always do
There's only one reason we're crap. Buckle. We've got some decent players for League 2. Look at 82 - couldn't buy a win under Millen, even though they've got a reasonable squad on paper. They brought in a decent manager who, with virtually the same squad, has completely transformed their fortunes on the field. Buckle needs to go. Give Campbell another chance, perhaps with a Lenny-type figure to guide him, and we'll soon be moving up the league.
