France randomly invades England and annexes Cornwall, Devon and the West Country and people in say, China, advising the UK to just let France keep that land as a way to end the war. France would probably love that, just as Russia would love to end the way annexing 18% of Ukraine. I don't think many in Ukraine would be happy at just giving Russia land anymore than the British government would let France have the West Country... maybe if it was Hull UK would let them keep it, but not the West Country.

I've just googled it and it's following some remark she made in an interview. The story is being pushed by the New York Post. If it happens great, but I still think it's unlikely. I think the best we can hope for is they both keel over in one of their televised debates.
I wouldn't mind someone taking Trump out. Biden doesn't bother me, he's ineffectual, but that's probably good. I'd rather someone who does nothing than someone with big ideas in the whitehouse! As far as most of the presidential candidates go, he's fairly tame. I'll settle for stability over crazy ideas any day.

But the sad thing is that Gaza did have a tourist industry, hotels, restaurants, nightlife etc The Israeli blockade on Gaza severely dented their ability to cater to tourists, as you simply couldn't get goods in or out. Back in around 2005 I think they had around 4.5m tourists annually. And now it's totally ****ed because Israel has turned it into a wasteland. I also think Israel is very happy with the idea that Gaza is nothing more than a warzone.
