V v Another Championship game away to a very inform side in Coventry City.Will be a hard game and we will do well to pick up points Tuesday night. I would imagine Twine will come straight back in and play-Would be lovely to see Sykes back as well.These two could be very interesting. I think we will lose this or sneak a draw. A win is probably a step to far.
I used to do a table which was based on 4 groups of 6 teams based on lge posn and who we played in each group and the what results were, every 6 games used to reposition / re do lge positions for next 6 etc etc . Interesting factoid was that we did much better against higher placed teams! and poorly against teams in bottom 2 groupings!. just saying!
That doesn’t surprise me, we’ve traditionally been better against better teams, we seem to find it difficult against lesser teams, often seeming to sink to their level
I will e watching on Robins TV as usual but I have a sneaking suspicion that this will be a very difficult match for the boys. Despite seeing a much more fluid team our biggest weakness, which is in the scoring department, could be our undoing again but let's wait and see where we end up. I still don't see Messi, or someone similar, on our radar and it's starting to look as if the transfer window will not address that lack of firepower in front of goal. How many more transfer windows must we endure before the bosses actually bring in what we need rather than more midfielders and although that category of player is on most club's wish list there must be one out there hiding in the bushes somewhere.
I know my watching of City matches is well covered by Robins TV but the other day when the game wasn't covered I tried Wawanews but got dire warnings and looked for another feed. Just after I gave up on that site someone on here suggested another stream and I think it was Sports 10 or something like that but it was safe and the coverage was superb. Perhaps try the second one of you're desperate.
No clubs making any transfers this window. Seems like with Prem clubs getting points deduction they are being cautious in dealings. So it’s looking like pickings from lower leagues which we’ve done and beaten off other suitors for their signatures.
