Very fortunate to get a point. The second half was absolutely awful. Frey first on the teamsheet for Blackburn match!

There's more life in that cemetery than there is in half our players !

My grandson has an appropriate colour coordination (and I didn't dress him).

Smyth and Bonner have to start in this side, they are the only ones that bring any energy and gusto to the proceedings !

Tbh though Turkish we didn’t create anything like the opportunities for a forward that HF did when they attacked.
Our new forward is going to want some decent service.

Referee was worst I've seen in ages.
Really didn't help. And they played him. And he fell for it.
We were awful, midfield non existant, Dykesvwas a waste of space in the 10 role, Willock was absent

There goal, as many against us this season was a badge unlucky with the block going to their player...mind you our equaliser was lucky too.

    So we are still alive...
Some of teams won't be fighting as hard as Huddersfield in future..
We can hope... that the new CF is a 10 goal a half season signing

Huddersfield were so much better than us it was embarrassing. Thought Marti would sort it out at half time but we were actually worse in the second half which was almost impossible to do.
When are we ever going to after away teams from the off and put them on the back foot!!

Smyth yes, but Dixon-Bonner was poor when he came on. He was more involved than Dykes - who was never in the game - but he kept giving the ball away. The current iteration of Willock should never start ahead of Smyth.

That was awful & got away with that thank Christ, should’ve played Smyth from the beginning as Willock was non existent, no midfield today, disappointing performance as I thought we would be up for it but wasn’t

No midfield as Colback and Field were protecting the back line.

Chair was doing his best but he was on his own as Dykes and Willock are not midfielders and were completely anonymous

Sitting on the train having had time to reflect on the afternoon performance.

It was absolute crap, not a single redeeming feature except the fluky result. To get an idea of how poor Huddersfield are they had 10 corners against us and didn’t score from any of them.

    On the train now.
We were reminded why we haven't been for so long.
Huddersfield pressed us really well, were by far the better side and their 14 was the best player on the pitch by a country mile.
It's clear that playing Dykes at 10, with Colback and Field sat on top of our back four that we completely surrender central midfield.
Dykes may have had a couple of decent games, but he was awful and is so not a 10.
Willock and Chair did little, but always had two or three on them. I'd put Willock at 10 and play Smyth out wide. Willock isn't a wide man imo, but has a decent touch etc.
The biggest disappointment, apart from that ****ing ref, was that we were so sluggish. There seemed no urgency or fight and apart from Willock and Chair they all just lost control of the ball under pressure and gave them it straight back.
It looked a decent crowd, but after the first awful 10 minutes there was no atmosphere whatsoever.
It only appeared after that late equaliser, which just about keeps us in with a shout.
Special mention for Armstrong, who at least put some effort in and Drewe, who had to come on and face their best player and did well defensively.
Really, really disappointing that we were so flat in such an important game.

They were excellent deliveries though, virtually every time.
Ours were the usual pile of ****.

Absolutely!! We can't hope that he's our saviour if he doesn't get any ball/opportunities.

Waiting for my son on South Africa Road after the game, some Huddersfield fans walked past. One was moaning to the others about ‘only drawing against a league one team’ . Just about summed us up today. Not good enough to stay up. Let’s hope the new boy can work miracles.

Cifuentes called it totally wrong today particularly after halftime. The huge gaps we left in the middle of the pitch allowed Huddersfield to dominate and create the dead ball situations they were constantly looking for.
The fact that they only managed to convert one of those says a lot for a defence well marshalled by Cook again.
I'm assuming those arguing that Willock should still start are now having a rethink after another abject performance.
Dykes also had a shocker and was totally dominated by the Huddersfield midfield.
If Sam Field speeds up a bit he might just catch up with the play in time for next week's game.
You have to feel sorry for Armstrong who put in another massive shift without any real help until Smyth belatedly came on.
Another very poor referee played like a fiddle by Huddersfield.

Can’t argue with that. We looked a p*ss poor League One team at that. And after a win last week you’d have thought we’d have come out flying at them, setting the tone for the rest of the game. But no. Just clueless faffing all over the shop.
And I’m done with Willock. Never want to see him start another game
