Was on the stretch and think just wanted to get something on it. I’d e expecting a team mate to be closer to win the second ball. Even if Norwich player wins it for knock down should be a midfielder there to tidy up - what fab used to do so wel

Love how 2 players jump up for a header, one catches the other with a stray arm and it’s a foul and yellow card.

However player goes up for a header with keeper, gets punched in the header and it’s play on.

Apparently players are responsibly for ensuring the safety of their opponent when making tackles etc.. apart from when it comes to keepers for some reason?

At this level he still has to see where no tomput it though.

I know it's harsh but those are the lessons to learn in gamesclike this rather than make them in big games.

Like vvd let the guy shoot as well so that was rather poor too.

If that was a cross, brilliant one from Bradley. Nice anticipation from gravenberch to get on the end of it.

    Nice game in the end.

    5 goals
    robbo taa szobo getting minutes
    nunez with another goal

    Cant complain.

Wouldn't be right if we didn't score five against Norwich <laugh>

    Two assists for Bradley too

Ideal world sure but I’d still be expecting one of TAA or szobo to be giving me an option.

Tbh ever since klopps come in we’ve always backed off and let players shoot from 20-25 yards. Ali normally makes the save so vvd will always back off to 18 yard box. It’s got to point where has to be a tactic that players rather let them shoot from q there knowing Ali likely to save, then step out and leave space behind for a runner and pass.

We definitely trust Alisson in those situations, it's more likely to be saved than not. Unfortunately, once in a while the shot will be too good.

Yeah risk and reward. Looks silly when stand off and someone pings one in, but then have to think about the number where they just knock it at Alisson or how many they may score if defence stepped up more etc.

3 assists for Bradley. Thought Gravenberch and Gakpo were very poor, especially the former. A win, which was expected of us and able to rest a few players by rotation ahead of two very tough games.

Definitely try assists for Bradley. McDonnell got one too, maybe that's what you're thinking of?

Quansah too; three quality youngsters that came through the system together. If they make it to the big time, wonder if we'll see documentaries about them (plus Trent, Harvey & Jones) in 20yrs, maybe they'll buy Tranmere Rovers too

    as a few notes :emoticon-0126-nerd:

    1. gravenberch struggles to fit in. Time and preseason is required but a new manager needs to figure his position out

    2. Bradley needs games. he's a little eager to gamble on things and can improve his attacking game through looming at his control. the ball always seems to get under him when he controls it but if he can open himself up and get on the front foot he will be even better.

    3. we enjoy a lot of possession at times but are best when more direct about things. any sideways pass or extra touches and we end up back out the field playing in front.

    4. szoboszlai looked sharp coming on. eager to be back.

    5. trent looked like he was just coming on to come on and tap about more than anything. thsts all fine as long as he's back ready for Wednesday.

    6. nunez worked hard as always but the lazy commentary is so boring. too much time to think is a load of ****e.
