Not sure it was that, more me rushing about trying to make up for stuff Mrs Chief hadn't done. Thought I'd have everything nailed by seven and then kick back all evening. And then ballsing it up, basically. I ****ing hate papering ceilings.
Mrs luv's dad openly slags off my painting, which is okay tbf. The reason he does this is because I won't let him paint because he still uses a brush and gets paint everywhere.
He's more a you should/could have done this, after the fact. Not in any way helpful. Anyway, done it now, just needs painting. Looks **** currently but should be able to paint the gaps in. Way better than papering the whole ceiling again. I hate papering, but ceilings are ****ing awful. Coffee time.
Got one of the rads mounted in the kitchen. This is gonna be a **** of a job... The plastic fascia was blown off during storm ****. Gonna need a scaffold for that.
I put some shelves up in my daughters room earlier. Might take a pic if I can be arsed to go up stairs. it wasn't exactly a tough job tbh.
They look like Same doors I'm getting for the gaff, although I went for 3 Panel glazed ones. Delivery next week 135 a pop the ****s
Couldn’t find a hallway table that was the size I wanted and went with our other furniture, so decided to make this. Made the frame at work and had it powder coated and bought the oak top. Just applied the 3rd coat of dark oak stain and reckon it will need at least 3 more to get it to the right colour. Chuffed with it!
Bedroom hallway and living room done, got the bathroom and kitchen floors to do still in lino, then get my new doors on when they arrive next week, my gaff is pretty small so decided on 3 long panel (top to bottom) glazed internal doors throughout the flat to let as much light in as possible. Quick lick of paint on all the walls before they come I think These are the doors I went for
Did you do the fascia? Wondering if the timber underneath it's fixed onto was rotten as that would make the job a lot more ****ery.
