I was so negative on here back in the Cellino and GFH days but we’ve turned a corner. Like you, I don’t understand the negativity at times. Ipswich are going through the predicted wheels falling off stage, their season possibly defined over the next two league games.

Southampton might pip us for the autos but I want to avoid them if we’re in the playoffs. I’ve noticed Doc more negative than usual, @Doc I hope you are okay mate and I echo the other guys, you’ll be missed if you stay away.

Ipswich lost to a team in the sixth tier, it’s already being discussed as possibly the biggest shock in FA cup history.

Gnonto and Anthony as a pairing, at the start of the season they’d have been first choice, Piroe on the bench as Bamfords hit form, Firpo has been good the last few games, everyone moans Archie isn’t a RB and now he’s injured and will be replaced by Byram it’s the end of the season time for some.

There is little difference between Archie being out with a bruised knee for two weeks and being rested for two weeks

I won’t argue that I too feel this could be Farkes level, but it’s a level he knows and is good at. I’ll worry about that though after we’re promoted

 

How Ipswich lost, I don't know. Only watched the first 15 and saw them hit post twice, said it would end about 4-0

Usually yes but he had 3 toes amputated on Friday

 

Great post there. Lot of points covered. In it being Farkes leve, likely so but why people are getting wound up about that beats me. We’re are a championship team. Top quality players or coaches wont drop to this level so I’ll personally worry if Farkes good enough for pl when or if we get there

I think "will" is overconfident.

I'd rather say Farke 'should' get us promoted either this year or next.

 

I hope he does, I doubt it though, I'm sure we'll carry on this conversation come the end of the season, I promise I won't gloat I'll be too disappointed when we get beat in the playoffs

 

To be fair Mick if we are beaten in playoffs that can be considered a success. Remember Bielsas first go at playoffs and thankfully he got a second chance

 

This feels a little different to me due to the difference in budgets. Bielsa did it on a shoe string when expectations were low. Farke has one of the biggest budgets in the league so expectations are different. There is probably more pressure on Farke in his first season than in Bielsa's.

It's not anyone's fault, it's just how it is.
