Perhaps we can discover some Egyptian ancestry somewhere in Trent Al Kafaji-Arnold's family history. He can go defend for them.
According to talksport Salah vvd and TAA coukd follow klopp out the door. Incredibke you may think and where have they got that insight from? Well their contracts expire in 18 months so we may not renew because Salah is being lined up by Saudi, vvd well they don’t give a reason why he may not extend and TAA? Well even though he’s vice captain of his boyhood club, klopp is the only manager he’s known…
Sounds like they just picked some of the biggest names at the club in order to get the biggest reaction.
Did they have any actual facts in that, or where they just talking out of their arses again. Salah maybe. The other two......... bullshit Also, even if Klopp was to manage elsewhere afterwards, he's shown that he doesn't raid from previous clubs. 0 (Klopp) Dortmund players have come to us in his 8 years
I'm as skeptical as the above but honestly. Although Salah and VVD are our biggest stars. The question over both is "for how long"? If, and it's a giant big if, but if we sold them, we would bring in a lot of money with which we would be able to spend on replacing them. I doubt VVD or TAA specifically are going anywhere just because Klopp leaves. Salah may be gone anyway. I'm not worried.
It's made up nonsense other than Salah who at his age may well fancy a new challenge. Add to that that we don't really want a player who will be going in 33 next season signing a big contract for lots of money, it's the right time for him to go if we can get a good fee.
He could do but get the right manager in and he will probably stay but I think Salah has already decided.
Well, I thought Salah was off this summer prior to Klopp's announcement so his leaving is only making it more likely for Mo to leave imo.
I've always said this. there's ALWAYS another player. this is about making good decisions rather than bad ones. form the time klopp arrived we've made good decisions the vast vast majority of the time. others are making rank decisions and wasting a lot of money. going forward, if ffp is real, making good decisions is absolutely crucial
Obviously. Salah is going to leave at some point and it's about reinvesting the money we get for him. However, there is uncertainty now. How much influence did Klopp have on signings. We were terrible before he arrived and we've been brilliant since. Can we continue to deliver such high standards after his departure?
no. not until a proper structure reemerges. when edwards was just doing his bidding and when ward was just doing his bidding or even smacked arse was doing his bidding that was OK but we need a top technical executive that makes quality decisions for the long term. rumours were some players were turned down by the club. who knows. we are not really sure of all these rumours. however what we really want to avoid is having people make decisions like benteke or balotelli or Anthony or fernandes and so forth and so on. the player character and attitude has been absolutely key to our success. this is the sole thing that must must must be retained in the thinking on transfers.
As much as would hate to lose Salah and he’d still be one of top performers have to see big picture. are we giving him a new contract next season? If not then we can’t lose him on a free. With new manager coming in, if we can give them a bit of cash from sale of Salah and can really start a new era
