Yes this will probably upset a few but Farkes stubbornness and insisting on not resting anyone now means we have Summerville out injured too. Gray. out, Struijk out Byram injured every third game, James out injured. So now we are going to end up using players who have not played much to backfill. Anthony and Gnonto backed by Poveda will be our wingers for a while. Still no RB so having to reply on Shackelton who wasn’t brilliant today. Byram and Firpo are going to have share LB. This isn’t a promotion winning side. Yes very unlucky yet again but not finding the net against a parked bus is regular, but it looked to me like FARKE reverted back to using Piroe in midfield and Rutter further forward again. We should have been 4 up at half time, but Gnonto not fully fit and hardly played missed a couple again. Hats off to Anthony for playing pretty well but as he hasn’t had many minutes he tired later on, but a great goal. FARKE said he needed all his players back in the summer but has refused to use half of them. Look how many weeks before he gave Gruev a go and look how good he is. Managers have a right to be strict and demand rules and tactics are followed but they also need to ensure players are rested especially 17yo kids. I am not in the FARKE is great camp and in fact think hes at his level. Today would have been yet another league point dropped against a crap side and we’ve already lost too many. This team is too weak at the back and nor efficient up front game after game after game and thats the only way to win promotion. I also think his treatment of Drameh, Gelhardt and Cresswell is a joke. So I will be staying off here for the rest of the season and come back in the summer and apologise if he wins promotion.
Good rant Doc Stay off or don't it's entirely up to you but speaking only for myself your opinions will be missed if you're not around. Oh and we won't win automatic promotion as it's really never been on the cards this season. Unfortunately the summer of disruption caused by relagation, the change of ownership plus all the rats leaving the sinking ship made that unlikely. However we have a good chance of going up via the play offs so let's all stick with it.
As Jammy says Doc,your input will be missed,if you're not enjoying it keep away but perhaps just for a week or 2. I have felt this season, which I've mentioned to you before, you don't seem your old self. Personally I've not been on as often because I was getting a little tired of the same old negativity, becomes boring after a while. Honestly at times you'd think we were bottom.4 not top.
