Good post. We looked a threat with Clarke and Ba today. As you say Jobe also played well today. I’d say the issue remains of our defensive midfield on the edge of the box. Ekwah did canny but isn’t made for there. I also thought Hume struggled a bit on his wrong side today other than that ok. Jurys still out in Beale of course it’s not been long enough but really pleased for him after the disgraceful things said about him, and sadly people still can’t say well done Beale.

Looking for a fight? Hahaha on the internet? I’m in Lithuania ya whopper. I thought you were out of order slagging someone off when the match was still going or just finished. Don’t see the point looking to single someone out when we’ve arguably just had the best win under our new gaffa. but yeah let’s have a scrap on our iPhones :emoticon-0102-bigsm

Screenshot_20240127_191458_Photos.jpg Does anyone know why Jobe wasn't 'blowing out of his arse today' ...

... I don't go along with the 'needs to be rested' theory, even less so after today.

He did. First half he went missing a bit noticed Neil (who was magnificent today) was on his case telling him where to go and encouraging him. Second half thought Was one of Jobes best 45 mins

It's funny how somethings work out when changes are forced, like Pritchard refusing to play, had he not would Beale have picked Ba, would we have had such a balanced side today.
That's not me having a go at Beale as I thought we looked a lot different in the way we played across the park.
It's just sometimes forced changes have some great results like I think it was the 86 world cup when Bryan Robson got injured and Beardsley came in, had Robson stayed fit Beardsley probably wouldn't have had that much game time and we might not of done as well ( he's still and ugly black and white cock sucker).
Maybe Beale was going to play Ba anyway or Pritchard could have just done him a massive favour

Neil has been brilliant this season. JC scores the goals but Dan is the engine room with some class to boot.

i think Neil is our best player without a doubt. He will be far harder to replace and i think he’ll go for a lot more money then anyone else too.

This kid must've been in shock after the game ...

... it must be tough on the emotions of these young lads.

Absolutely brilliant today. Starting to really show what he can do. Hopefully he’s able to keep it going.

    Thanks to
Their manager for taking gooch off mind. Gave the crowd a chance to show how much he was appreciated. Great of him to Go around at the end too. Reckon he’d have had a lump in his throat

Think the needing a rest was a more polite way of saying he should have been dropped.

He was better today that’s for sure but has been poor for a few games previously. I’d have rather played Pritchard or Adil in his position today if they had been available.

Did he have a walk around at the end or summit mate?

Great to see him getting the appreciation at the end loved the club and the area. As close to being a mackem as a yank could be. As much as he would have appreciated the crowds reaction I'm sure he won't be in a hurry to see Jack Clarke again <laugh>. Gave him a hard afternoon.

Not sure what Stokes fans would have made of him walking round clapping the home fans at the end

Just watched Beales interview and he looks like a new man after that.

My concern that I’d flagged was that he looked a bit ‘rabbit in the headlights’ so hopefully that’s galvanised him and he can be a bit more confident and dominant.
