So just for a change, we have made it to the fourth round of the FA Cup, after a far from simple game against an enthusiastic Chesterfield side.
So now we play host again to Southampton, who visited us only last month in a league game, that finished 1-1.

Southampton have not lost a game since September 23rd, although in that run they have only managed to win twice out of six away from St. Mary's.

Since our close run affair against Chesterfield, we have beaten QPR and gathered another away from home point against Bristol City, keeping us close to the play-offs, although not in the top six yet.

Watford fans will be hoping to see if the new, or should it be returning Emmanuel Dennis gets a run out, and what he can do, even if he starts the game on the bench.

It’s being broadcasted internationally so probably be a few streams around .

 

VI hinted yesterday that Dennis was a couple of weeks away from being ready to play.

Hopefully he was indulging in mind games...

 

Well has been out injured but would be nice to have him ready soon.

When I spent a couple of years in Watford in the early 80s Fry Days was almost my second home -:excellent food and friendly service. I doubt it has the same owners/staff now though.

 

I have been in there quite a few times for 6d of chips. That tells you it is not recently.
