****in hell My ancient blood ties are to Italy, not the UK. Do you think I shouldn’t really be here? After all, that’s what you’re getting at here with the Israeli people.
Northern European Italian then My brother has been doing our family tree and DNA. Turns out I'm 2% Pakistani. Might have to claim a bit of land for myself out there
The one I saw said they were the same people, not that I put any faith in either, as I very much doubt they've DNA tested enough people to give any sort of accurate assessment.
Chitral It’s near the Afghan border, supposed to be super nice out there. How do you do the DNA thing?
I think that one I posted is probably based on immigration of European Jews to Israel, who obviously don't have any Semitic DNA. Indigenous people will be made up of people who speak Arabic, Hebrew, Aramaic and who would have roots in the wider Palestine Just thought it was interesting that the term anti-semitic is used as a catchall for any anti-jewish sentiment, when a lot of arab/palestinian people would also have semitic roots too.
I can't remember the company my bro did it with, there are a few. But you can buy a DNA test kit, where you take a cheek swab and send it off I'll take a look at Chitral, sounds like my kind of place, bet there's some nice hashish out there too lol Might have to check with @Lovearsenalcock first to get my papers stamped
Disagree with you here, mate. I’ve recently done my family tree and it’s really interesting finding out about your ancestors and where you come from.
I suppose our family name used to be Danish, it was changed when they migrated here cos the British port authority bloke couldn't spell it. This happened a lot back then, late 1800s. Both sides had this same problem and both migrated from the cold North for work in the UK Fun fact One of Jack the Rippers victims was also a Scandinavian migrant
See that’s cool and interesting. Same thing happened with our family name when they come over. Guy even changed his first name from Marco to Mark, so he’d be more English.
Definitely interesting I've got family out in Australia because a distant relative was sent over on the prison ships, probs for nicking a loaf of bread of something My DNA though is predominately Anglo Saxon and Celt around 65%, there's some Scandinavian in there, a fair bit around 27% (presumably from when Vikings and Saxon's invaded Britain) and then there's a mix of Persian / Turkish and 2% Pakistani So in the distant past some of my ancestors migrated from Pakistan up through Iran, eventually into Europe, Scandinavia before settling in England. Or my Great great great great granddad had a Persian woman.... who knows ?
Sent your name to Rishi ... first on the Rwanda plane when it eventually takes off ... coming over here, taking our rocks...
