Yeah thanks ROD for your suggestion and it works so well. We have looked quite good for the first 45 minutes but the lack of an all out striker means we couldn't take advantage of some great plays. I hope we can stay with the formation and tempo in the second half as a nice F.A. Cup run would be good for both the morale and bank balance.
We have to address that to progress. The football that LM has us playing is a million miles better than under Nige, we just lack that real threat in the box
A replay up at Nottingham will get more money into the coffers and I thought we looked very good tonight and, but for poor chances, we could easily have won. We played way higher up the pitch and our midfield create lost of space but the final touch was just off the mark again but I'm sure with this lot we could up the ante by them getting more time to get their individual game up to full potential. I like the flowing football that has arrived at Ashton Gate with Liam and his crew and I believe that with a couple of creators/scorers joining the pack we could actually do way better next time out.
Neither side looked like scoring, could’ve played all night. Feel we missed a chance, coffers must be doing well though, nest egg getting bigger.
One thing I noticed in the first and second half. When Manning goes back and discusses with Chris Hog, we don’t press. One point Conway held his hands out like 10 and we sat back. Then Manning comes forward and gestures and we push forward again. It’s almost like take a break for a few minutes.
