If we lose on penalties (I know this game would go to a replay), then would that count as a draw or a loss for the unbeaten run?
WEATHER WARNING The Met has issued a Red & White weather warning for Sunday 28th January. The latest incarnation of Storm ......loading...... which has battered parts of England for the last twenty weeks or so is on the move again. The effects will be felt all along the M3 corridor and is due to peak in Watford at around 14.00 hrs. It is not expected to move again until 16.00 hrs. The residents of Watford have been warned not to venture out or make any unnecessary journeys especially to the Vicarage Road area where major disruption is predicted. Although Storm ......loading......'s path will head back down the M3 later in the day, black clouds will remain in Watford and a depression will hover for the rest of the week. The storm will inspire Elton John to write an extra verse to "Candle in the Wind". "The hurricane (......loading....../SFC), with it's relentless winds (KWP) and torrential rain (AA) was an unstoppable force that left destruction (WFC) in it's wake."
They’re young fit lads, sure they can play again on Sunday surely it will be the same team that started against Walsall, maybe Fraser might be spared.
I wonder if Rothwell and Alcaraz can start in the same team? Both probably need the start, but neither have any defensive quality and I could be wrong, but I thought they both play the same position.
We'll just have to adopt the Keegan method of "You score two, we'll score three". Can't see any problems there...
I hope to see at least one of them start. It’s so exciting having these youngsters coming through while also on an incredible run.
I’d put Stu in the same category as Rothwell and Alcaraz. Smallbone isn’t quite as attacking, more focused on link up play and has more defensive output than the others named, even if it’s not a real strength of his imo.
Matt Gill: Edozie & Bree getting close but won’t be available this weekend Kamaldeen closer so may be There will be changes
Lumley Holgate, Stephens, THB, Meghoma Smallbone, Charles, Alcaraz SAA, Mara Fraser This was the starting team against Walsall. They’ll be keen to get Rothwell starting, but that would make us look light defensively if it’s for Smallbone and Charly needs minutes as well. I think changing Fraser for Dibling would be a bit too much youth, so fancy Adam Armstrong to be the senior man upfront
From afar, I hope Southampton put out as strong a team as possible and progress to Round 5. It is about time a team did the promotion and Cup double which was last achieved before any of us were born. By WBA in 1950, so why not Southampton in 2024?
