I'm going for a 0-0 draw. Haven't really got any confidence

Just hope fans dont voice any displeasure till the end of the game

If it turns toxic early on we will be done for.

Hoping for a decent performance and a convincing victory and the start of a resurrection because Im simply pissed off with all the managerial changes we have.

Please note I did say HOPE!!

    I live in!<doh>

Can we get 2 up front tomorrow and still keep it strong in midfield / defence?

Id love to see us try, we can always stick a couple of defenders on once we are 3 nil up and the kitchen sink starts coming our way

Could throw caution to the wind and go 4-4-2.
Or 5-3-2, but then you'd have to have Clarke as a wingback, or you could play him as a left sided forward of the 2.

From what i saw of Stoke last week they like to get it wide and get crosses in, so Clarke at wing back would be a risk.

Wonder if tomorrow is time to try the 433, keep the middle compact and Clarke, Rusyn and Mayander / Ba as the front 3?

The Sunderland crowd have a history of defiance in the face of ignominy with our backs to the wall ...

... the majority of the crowd appreciate that we're a work in progress with keen young lads who need our support.

    Ha'way the Lads!!!

And Rodwell still couldn't hit an open goal!

Was leaning towards 352 tomorrow to change things up but don't want Clarke at wing back and can't think of anyone else for it. I don't even know what starting 11 I want. If Stoke get at us, like they should be told to do, worried about game. Please prove me wrong lads.

I like the team RTB. Been saying for a while to bring Seelt in and move O9 up to midfield. Hope Rusyn plays although I would prefer 2 strikers at home for every game.
Unusual for me to be sensible but going for 2-1. Rusyn both.

PS, hoping I am wrong and we fkn thrash them 5-0.

Great match thread as always RTB. Thanks again for your efforts. Who knows what will happen tomorrow after the last couple of weeks on and off the pitch. One thing I am sure of is I will be 100% behind the lads from the off and I'm sure they will respond to that. I'd like to see a cracking performance along with 3 points but would gladly accept 3 points and a quieter week all round. Remember to keep the faith lads and lasses and haway the lads.

Good post mate, totally agree with your feelings ...

... I've just booked my train and partly because I want to give my support to the club, the Lads and the manager.

I'll be in the Museum from 1.30 if you fancy a pint.

Nice to see a normal post which doesn't make it seem like we're in a crisis. We aren't. I don't know what the atmosphere will be like but I'll do my bit to cheer us on, including the manager.

Hope we win but have zero faith in the management - 0-2 due to this.

If we can get back to basics, round pegs in round holes we can have a good afternoon today, expect them to come at us from the off to try and get the crowd to turn, hit them on the break get an early goal and hopefully put them to the sword, Haway Sunderland!

Needs to start like that, I would agree. Getting concerned with Prichard not playing though due to his contract mess around. That would be a loss as I want him in the 10.

SHOULD be a no brainer pritch at 10 with ba’s pace out wide but we’ll see, we simply can’t neglect the entire right flank again like last week

It’s not Sunderland but I’ve never seen this before and it’s suddenly got very dusty in the room.

I think Daire hits home on what it’s like to be a fan of a football club.

COME ON SUNDERLAND LETS MAKE A GOOD GO OF IT TODAY !
