Hugely disappointing for me. I've known about this horse for the best part of 7 weeks. I was told the first run was purely a sighter and have watched it be withdrawn twice subsequently and then noted its entry tomorrow for a week. I checked pricing this morning on the Racing Post pages at 25/1 and I though I might get a bit more.. On Betfair there was bits of Monet at 22/1 and I managed to take £3.50 of that. I the sat and watched Oddschecker open up and saw a max 11/1 this was taken quickly and now all the 10/1, 9/1 8/1 (disappeared as I was talking it on Bet 365 while then offered 5/1) and its as low as 7/2 in places.. I'm gutted... disinclined to take 5/1 about something that might still have ifs and buts about it... It's called TAKE CARE 2.02 Lingfield Friday.

EDIT... trained by Pat Murphy who has just been diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer as reported in the Post this week... a last hurrah perhaps..

Will take the chance today with Micks Jet @ 4/1 in the 1.00 in Sedgefield. Cousin had the horse as a pointer and whilst I don't have any "inside word" on its well being today, I am fairly confident she prove to be a better horse than what's in this race and hopefully she can prove it today. 4/1 is about right given she has a bit to prove after recent runs compared to the market principals. Hopefully can start fulfilling her potential now this year.

Best of luck anyone having a go today.

Ran well but definitely needs further to be winning again. Not as resolute over the middle distances when they get racing.

Well done YouSee who picked the winner of the race.

In the (15:30) at Sandown, a competitive Class-3 Handicap Hurdle over an extended 2m3f on softish ground, the Nathaniel gelding, Gyenyame, has a squeak in this event. Wearing cheek-pieces. Brendon Powell rides for the Joe Tizzard stable

9/2 (Coral/Ladbrokes) best price at time of writing. E/W preferred option, especially if there is any drift in these odds.

....on vet's advice. SP had gone out to 8/1 at time of withdrawal. Obviously something was spotted before the vetting to drift like that

Very fortunate to have finished in third place. Ran a poor race and really and could not go the pace. Lucky e/w eases things a bit! <whistle>. Nice winner for Harry Cobden, won nicely.
