Yes I had a Kodak, released to the market the year before I believe, although cameras had been used before then with the first one being invented in 1816. Just after quarter past six according to Morcambe & Wise!
Picture included 1923 and 2023, 100 years apart and 1989, so would be nice to see it in 1889, back in it's primitive state before civilization arrived at Anfield.
I mentioned the Kodak, obviously they didn't invent the camera any more than Apple invented the smart phone, but I mentioned them as they were the first commercially successful camera that took photography mainstream. Incidentally, I remember listening to a podcast once about Kodak. They apparently had digital camera technology long before anyone else, but didn't release it because they realised it would damage their film business... then other camera makers came out with digital (Kodak refused to release theirs because they wanted to keep milking the film cow), and it wasn't until Kodak had one foot in the grave that they decided to give in and release their own digital camera. Of course Kodak is dead now (although someone else owns the rights to the name so you still see Kodak products). Other useless Kodak trivia: they used to have their own nuclear fusion reactor on site, and had their own supply of bomb-grade uranium (not just fuel-grade).
Ivan Toney just landed his Uncle’s Bet Builder after scoring and getting booked please log in to view this image
the ref missed the **** moving the ball out of the marked location before taking the free. absolute incompetence writ large again
ah it doesn't from a direct free kick in genuine danger position. sure people take advantage round the park try to gain a tiny angle but the don't short the ball a full yard outside a drawn arc that ref has no excuse
Think there’s a difference betwene moving it a bit when putting ball into the box. But Toney knows he went too far as he moved the actual foam. It gave him a massive advantage on the angle of the wall. Saying that, forest should have been more aware and alert to it, and what the guy standing next to the wall 2 yards outside was doing god only knows n
Sky Sports is reporting that a Man United training session was delayed for nearly 2 hours today after a player reported finding an unknown white powdery substance on the pitch. Training was suspended and the police were called. After a complete analysis, experts determined that the white substance unknown to the players was the Goal Line. Training resumed after the police decided the team was unlikely to encounter the substance again this season.
The return of Spring! After a week or so of temperatures dropping below freezing at night getting a nice warm 22C temperature today. Wish I could stay home and enjoy it instead of work... But still nice.
