Newcastle United could be set for some last-minute transfer drama after Yasir Al-Rumayyan’s recent meeting with the Magpies.
He's generally always available and makes more tackles than most.. he's a workhorse and very under appreciated.
Also quite alot of Newcastles threat is trippier and Almiron linking up. Unfortunately the idiots only see a missed shot and ignore everything else completely and other significant issues he imposes on the other team.
Sell him if the price is right. Too injury prone and looks to be getting slower and less effective, even when fit. Would make more sense than selling Trippier (though again, due to age, I would sell for the right price) or Almiron, who are both far more useful. We would definitely need to immediately replace him though, as Isak has also been a little unreliable in terms of staying fit.
Agree, but only so long as we can bring in a replacement this window though. We can't afford to have only Isak up front for the rest of the season.
I mean, he played 31 games last season. This seasons rough campaign has taken his toll. He's still played 14 games despite being our 2nd choice striker. I'd be reluctant to sell because we're not going to get better for the same amount we sell him for. We'll need to pay 40-50m to get a better option.
If we sold him for £18m then we could spend more than that on the replacement I think, due to that rule about spreading signing fees over contract length.
Wilson Last seaosn 31 apps - 18 goals This season 14 apps - 7 goals. That doesn't seem like he's too injury prone. It's easy to say that now he's injured, but so are many others, and he got injured after a horrendous run of fixtures. We need better l
I'm sure there was a stat showing that he's missed over 40% of our games since.he joined. If we get the suggested £18m for him, then we can afford to spend over £60m (on a 4 year contract) to replace him.
