The Chairboys head to Manchester to take on the Tics at the DW and after the weekend without a game we will be looking for a good performance we have only won two of our eighteen meetings the last being way back in 2001 but it was at the DW. Matty has a fresh squad available and with signings and players returning from injury we need to crack on but Josh will be serving the last game of his ban. I will be watching via Wanderers TV and hopefully we continue to improve and start to climb the table
With only the 1pt seperating seven clubs a win would do us the world of good & with the next game being at home to Fleetwood
Still not sure whether to watch this one or not, wet and windy conditions could make for a very boring game.
Playing alright actually, defence a lot higher than I have seen which is good. Knock downs/ 2nd balls just not going our way.
****ing Blooms. Done it again. Brought on a defender for a playmaker inviting all out attack from the oponents. We should be trying to nick the winner from a break. Can't do that if you take off our best player. When will he learn
For the love of god Bloomfield just go now before you get us relegated,1 win in 16 League games and a win rate since he took over of 25%,what other club would stick with a manager with that record and he never learns from his mistakes?
Here's the list of pts dropped after 90 mins if you include 80mins it's even worse. That's nine pts dropped. Wigan away 1pt dropped Lincoln home 2pt dropped Port Vale home 2pt dropped Barnsley away 1pt dropped Oxford away 2pt dropped Pompey away 1pt dropped There is actually 3 other goals in two games let after the 90min
90+ 20 must be almost a record. As said on another thread I was watching this game via the stats page on beeb football. I couldn't understand why none of the stats changed for ages and ages. I thought this must be the most boring game ever and then the stats began to tick over again. No explanation anywhere. I saw later in the write up that the Ref was in a sandwich with a couple of players. You would think he could wait till the showers after the game wouldn't you. The worst move Wycombe made and previous Manager was to part company. Ainsworth was good with you and he lasted no more than 5 minutes with his move. You and he fitted together even if you weren't going to rip up trees very often.
