I think that they're both underrated, but I don't see why a Saudi side would sign either. They're not box-office, flair players or particularly big names and they're not cheap.
I'd say they're rated as standard defensive RBs, which is probably a fair assessment. I think their styles have become largely outdated though in most leagues, as nowadays a RB is no longer really viewed as just a right sided defender but more a defensive winger. I can see the club looking for a new RB - and LB - in the summer in order to provide proper competition to Udogie and Porro from a stylistic perspective, which would guarantee the end of Sessegnon (if he's not already left this window) and won't be much better for Emerson. I think we'll end up regretting not taking that Saudi offer, as I don't see an equal or higher one arriving from Europe.

I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s on Lange’s (Paratici’s) radar. I’d imagine a few will be though, likewise at LB. I think it’s two of the final three squad positions alongside GK that are in need of improvement and we’ll have the aim of sorting them in the summer, joining the marquee signing of a new CF. Either way I think Sessegnon and Emerson are on borrowed time, the former especially and could be gone this window. It’s why I feel we could/ should’ve also accepted the Emerson offer, because unless the Saudi’s return with another bid now or in the summer, we likely won’t be able to sell him and instead will be left with a Lo Celso/ Ndombele/ Spence etc situation of likely looking at loans without obligations seeing as Europe’s skint.
