We're leaking sloppy goals left and right even when we dominate the ball.

Coventry and Newcastle yeah, but other than we've done fairly well.

Ipswich equaliser was pure luck along with the Hull goal. Deflection going thr oppositions way and not ours.

Rotherham, Bristol, Huddersfield, Plymouth in the last couple of month off the top of my head. Our cleanest performance was perhaps the 1-0 against Leeds. We've been looking shaky for a while now.

We've conceded 9 goals in 9 games since Mowbray left if you don't include the Newcastle game. We've only scored 8 goals in those 9 games.

Both MD and MB have changed things to try and stop us having days like Coventry where we are gung-ho and leaving the back door open.

Why would you not include the Mags game?

I'm not sure what you're arguing at this point, we need to do better defensively, we're dominating the ball and leaking soft goals, we all know of our attacking problems, we've had them for 18 months. If you're **** upfront, you better be good at the back. That's what I'm suggesting we address.

Because it was a one off game against a far superior side.

They were bigger, stronger, fast and vastly more experienced than our young squad.

People's biggest gripe with MB is his lack of goals and attacking football.

I feel he's trying to get a balance while missing a couple of key players/signings to make it happen.

It doesnt matter what the biggest gripe is, what matters is results. If we can shut up shop and take a few 1-0, these 90 IQ "biggest gripe" types will sharp forget all about it.

Our season has based him and Roberts doing that.

It was more Amad last year.

I’d have Rigg and Ba in for Ekwah and Jobe.

    What's your thinking behind that?

We'd be extremely lightweight with a midfield of Neil, Pritchard, Rigg and Ba.

Not as lightweight as Ekwah has been this season, especially in recent months. Weak as piss and far too laboured. Jobe - the less said, the better. Rigg is a tidy footballer who needs more opportunities. I appreciate he’s very young but he’ll be away if he doesn’t get minutes here. He’s good enough imo. I’m far from Ba’s biggest fan but he’d give us more width down that right hand side and he was decent in his last start against Ipswich. Something needs to change and fast. FWIW, I fully expect Beale to select Ekwah and Jobe but I live in hope that he freshens it up…

    .................... Patto
    Pembele Seelt Ballard Hume
    ...................O'Nien
    ..............Ekwah Neil
    ......Ba........ Rusyn .......Clarke

That Leeds game was our best performance since the Southampton game and should have been the blueprint instead it was thrown out of the window next game MoM Seelt was dropped , its decisions like this that make me wonder what our so called coaches see that we cant, as you say we have been shaky for a while now I would agree, build from the back was the old mantra and for me it holds good today.

Onions must have already been sent off . . . . for something that had absolutely nothing to do with him, no doubt
