Glad you posted that @Ubedizzy - it's exactly how I read it. Appleton points out a lot of keyboard warriors posting stuff on social media that they would never say to someone's face, and behold - a bunch of them claim Apples has collectively invited them out for a ruck. If they can't understand basic English, maybe it's time to get off the internet and get some fresh air. You do wonder sometimes whether the state Charlton are in is down to the way the fans behave online
Anyone who uses bullying and threats online in the name of CAFC is not a Charlton fan. Like racists and misogynists they are only a source of shame to the Club they claim to support. I don't think Appleton is a good manager and I think he should go. But I don't doubt his honest intent. He may be a poor head coach but he isn't a bad person. Far more than can be said for the keyboard pond life who threaten and abuse him.
Given the circumstances (the Club still being a freak show basket case) I'm not surprised. No manager in his right mind would want to work for those a**eholes in our boardroom.
Cawley is now saying Jones is very close. If true it would be the best bit of news since SE7 took over the running of the club.
Surely we are not going to have a second consecutive weekend of embarrassing 200% facts that don’t end up as…….facts Remember, if it ain’t on the OS……… Anything else is just willy waving.
There is going to be a very confused shelf stacker today. On his way to Gillingham today he'll discover we're at home when he's on the train from London. He'll not know which game to go to.
Seriously Ridiculous apparently has posted 7000 times with Ivor. With the s*** that we are in he cannot bring himself to admit the failings of the club and individuals. Apologists like this are not worth a carrot as they would accept relegation. Supporters can spend up to £200 doing a 150 miles journey to an away game, getting up at 6 and having an 18 hours day is passion and rightly so get f***** off when no effort is put in. The apologists shrug their shoulders at 5 and turn Charlton TV off and make a cup of tea.
