Exactly.. so in that case shouldn’t mind any club as many have had periods of dominance that were then broken up by another club.

United won everything till arsenal came about so arsenal should be fine.
Chelsea then broke those 2 up etc

 

Not sure which clubs think that and how they go about putting that image out to be honest but it’s a subjective thing so assuming someone has done something to trigger that thought?

 

I wouldn't class Arsenal as having a period of dominance. A great team that achieved an amazing fete in being invincible (in the league). Let's be honest they only ever pipped Man Utd occasionally, they never dominated, neither did Chelsea for that matter.

City, Man Utd and Liverpool have had era's. The others have played second fiddle.

Arsenal get my respect for winning something major in every decade but none of it being enough to call dominant IMHO.

the original point was that the top 4 were static until city game along. Well United we’re winning everything until arsenal came along so shouldn't not like arsenal. Point is how far back do you go in terms of not minding a team because they broke up the monopoly.

I’d say keep just enjoying it mate. Liverpool and Arsenal are like a lass you thinks gonna be a 10 but ends up being a 7/8.. good, but just not quite good enough. We’re like a 1 or 2 at this point
