To be honest, in my opinion, this announcement is just the latest in a long line of examples of failure under Tata ownership. At the time, I recall someone comparing the purchase of Corus by Tata Steel to the local chip shop buying the Harry Ramsden chain. They were like ‘rabbits in headlights’ - basically, after buying Corus, it was like what do we do now? What has followed is an awful legacy - a legacy of failed stewardship, underinvestment, selling assets/businesses they didn’t understand to - in my view - dubious businesses (Greybull to name one such buyer), effectively walking away from the Pension Scheme, yes they created BSPS 2 but that was an inferior scheme that saved them probably £billions. The Government rolled over then and they have effectively rolled over again …..
This net zero agenda will cripple uk eventually ? When the blast furnaces are gone the twats behind it will still be importing the coal/orre from the other side of the world plus the shipped diesel burnt getting it here adding to the carbon footprint the net zero con artists are using to ruin the western industries ! While China and India are continuing to build new coal burning industry at pace ffs ! With war forcing the shipping to go the long way around it'll show the green con artists as even bigger liars and hypocrites, while they fly in their fleets of private jets to Davos, Builderburg and to their Brussels and their expensive relocating to Strasbourg every so often ! Wales was a major part of the industrial revolution and is being killed off for cheap inferior production that profits the few not the many ! Especially no body working in it in Wales!
It's a very sad dystopian future we're headed for. Most people must see this but if a real alternative party was started in the UK they still wouldn't be voted into power Let's hope at least there is a tipping point before it's too late.
The guy is living proof that the Peter Principle isn’t always correct …. In my view, Henrik has been promoted several times above his level of competence. Further proof of the mismanagement of Corus by Tata ….
