Because of his connections to Putin. Rybolovlev has always distanced himself from Putin et al. and also hasn't been sanctioned by the EU or US, as far as I'm aware. So that would likely allow him to purchase us.
His time here has been wonderful imo, I'd be very sad to see him go. Sadly KLD has become poison to some of the noisiest supporters who are campaigning to get him out ... ... he might see this as the easiest way out.
I can't see KLD letting go just yet. Unless recent events have led to it. Mind it's a bit concerning when posters of repute unlike myself are saying things aren't quite right
Despite a couple of recent **** ups and a current feeling of negativity by most, the club has been the most professional it has ever been since he came in. A huge turnaround to get us to no longer be a retirement village where players come to take the piss!
the model is KLD idea you would think the would have the own ideas and change it so would be a different model
It works and is successful, may need the odd tweak but I don't think it needs or warrants completely binning off. Most clubs are data driven these days anyway
The model would work with a bit more investment and a tweak over resale value of players. If indeed there is one
Ideal would be someone to come in alongside KLD stick with the data driven side even the young players for re-sale value but have 2-3 players in the team that cost what would be considered good money in this league. Striker needs to be someone with experience and maybe defensive midfielder?
