Two points there, you don’t know what Beale’s career is going to be, and peddling Clough was a 100% not right, looking at his career.
Cautious, keep doing the same thing especially if it's not working and play with no width on one side.
I hate social media and no doubt a lot of the comments are from people who don’t even go to the match. Saying that, it’s unfortunately the way of the world these days and a club’s perception on social media is huge.
No - basing it on his record and the games I've been to and watched recently. The bloke is not a leader or manager. That's why things are quickly going backwards and will continue to do so until the club realises their error and reboot imo.
My take. Our problem under TM was we had hit a bit of a plateau football was still quite fluid but teams had worked us out and we didn’t have a plan to break them down I think a lot of the young lads were going through the motions having found a level of play that was easy on the eye but not really producing anything. What we needed was someone to reenergise the squad emphasise energy and pace and implement some tactical tweaks to breakdown the low block What we got was someone who has noticably gone the opposite way and slowed things down players are stuck in their roles now playing with no freedom and without any real tactical changes I gave MB the benefit as I though he was just sorting out the shape when we didn’t have the ball which needed addressing under TM but having watched his teams up at Rangers a few times I now really think this is as good as it gets What we are seeing on the pitch is what Beale is telling them to do Not only is he stifling the team he’s stifling the development of these young lads. Now it’s early days and hopefully I’m wrong but signs are not good
It is blinding obvious that l have no idea how the future will pan out. I can only go by what is in the public domain and my own instincts. Results and statistics are out the, as is clubs fans reactions to him at the clubs he has been at. Although l was not among them, our fans were fairly unanimously against his appointment. My instinct was he will struggle with the supporters from the off. We have seen that Friday, l not seen any real tactical changes, tinkering with the players, ie, Rusyn plays and scores. Not played in next game. My instinct are, is trying to assess player during games time, or is he absolutely clueless.
Not watched Rangers under Beale myself, but it does sound like we're seeing the same issues that occurred at Rangers, which makes the decision all the more concerning and calls Speakmans judgement into question. Wonder if Speakmans background is almost too close to the coaching, not really valuing certain skills a head coach/manager needs at a big club.
Can't really blame people who don't go to the match, lots of fans around the globe don't go to the match but watch us at every opportunity they can via TV the same fans that have been lifelong supporter's and can see what is happening and knew that beale wasn't the right choice. We all have our opinions and the fans you speak of have just the same right
Four areas stand out for me. The team playing much more of a narrower gamewith more cramping up and down the field. By converting to a Zonal defence where most of our players clearly cannot play the system and are uncomfortable with it. The amount of bewilderment on the pitch where players appear not to know or understand what the coaches are trying to achieve. Both Dodds and Proctor sitting back in the dugouts for most of the games and becoming less influential in tactical changes.to patterns of play.
Perhaps a young team learning their trade and an experienced manager (or vice-versa) is viable, but being inexperienced in both areas is a recipe for disaster.
Not blaming them at all mate, a fan is a fan and everyone has different circumstances. I worded it wrong just the outpouring of hate on social media is a lot worse than when at the match. Would be interesting to see if there is a split in feelings towards the manager based on people who sit through watching the match and those unable to make it.
