He’s more likely to go sideways, backwards and sideways again.

Obviously failed to impress Marti - hopefully makes room for someone who can improve the team

Don't really know what to make of the Dozzell loan. Hopefully some wages off our books for the spell.
Scored a screamer and one sublime pass in his career with us.

Hoping to see a player or two coming in but this could simply be a FFP move to reduce the wage bill.

He significantly weakens their team which is useful given we’re in a relegation battle. The press are referring to him as an England U20 player but Birmingham will soon realise it’s another bad appointment by the club

Just Dykes and Dunne to go!
Hopefully, the idea is that we can now loan/buy someone who scores goals.

It’s a win win. We’ve sent him to sabotage Melton Mowbray’s plans and created headspace on the wage bill. The new CEO is a genius. :emoticon-0141-whew:

Huddersfield brought in Healy from Watford and Plymouth brought someone in too. That's evert club around us thst has brought players in now ! We are just treading water, doing nothing and just waiting for League 1 to envelop us. All very depressing

The only odd thing about the Dozzell loan is it leaves us with very few bodies in that position, especially with Field and Colback 1 or 2 yellow cards away from being suspended. Other than that 2 goals and 2 assists in 98 games is frankly a disgrace from a player who has ability.

I think he's gone purely for financial reasons regarding his wages. Always rumoured to be one of our top earners.

He's been moved on due to top wages.
No real loss as he's been an underachever, plus Marti don't rate him.
Will probably turn into top player now..the QPR curse :(

    The ginger Pirlo

Joking aside, he played a good game yesterday. Was strong, measured, calculated and (along with the rest of the team) collected no yellow card :emoticon-0137-clapp
For me Chair was MoM. A real comeback performance from Ilias where he was busy all match and running rings around their back line.
Really enjoyed Sinclairs game to be honest. Used his speed to unsettle, his strength to hustle and he did that striker thing we’ve talked about in getting in the right place and pushing to the ball through defenders for his goal. Green shoots!

Most enjoyable was the mixing it up of playing from the back, ‘lumping’ it forward and occasionally a fast pass through the middle of the park (more please). Would like to see less of the ball moving back from the opposition 25 to our 10/25 yard. Such a loss of pressure and opportunity, I get the occasional ones to draw the opposition in but sometimes we really lost momentum when in their defensive third.

    Love the three points :emoticon-0100-smile

La Liga clubs Cadiz and Getafe have made offers for Sporting Gijon's French midfielder Jonathan Varane, the half-brother of Manchester United defender Raphael Varane. Championship sides Norwich and QPR also have bids in for the 22-year-old. (L'Equipe - in French)
