Well, yeah. If it wasn't, I wouldn't have hit it. Not arsed about the birthday bit, I'm not doing anything till tomorrow anyway. It was the waste of five hours and whatever it ends up costing!
I got pulled by the old bill one time when a traffic system changed, which is probably what made me think about it, thankfully they let me off a ticket. Probably just coincident they are all facing one way, it was you saying as well the Fiesta wouldn't give way, that also got me thinking.
There are clearly give way lines at the bottom of the street anyway, knew it wasn't one way as that area has various one way runs and that isn't one of them. The Fiesta pulled out from behind those vans as I was driving down. It would have taken him literally one second to wait for me to pass. No wonder he ****ed off, given how angry I am and that.
the licence plate got done for free because the dealership had to fix up my back plates when i bought it (they chucked in the front plates). The paintwork was part of the dealership package where i have 3k of repairs as long as the scratches/dents etc are less than 30cm which they were. Only removed 150 quid. It only lasts for 4 years and i'm hoping i don't need to use it. It hasn't cost me anything really and its been a month and a half now (had to submit a claim within a month to use the package thng). Ideally would just do it all through insurance but tbh, i thought we should have asked for less but the old lady had a change of heart and wanted to fix her car up to so went through insurance in the end
What a ****ing day, yesterday was. 8.30 am doctors see my brother in law, tell him they were taking the excess fluid off his lungs on Monday, then they were going to start a program to build him up, so he could start chemo in 2-3 weeks. 11.30 he was dead, never seen anyone go down so quick. I really didn't think he was ever going to start chemo as he was too weak, and in my head I'd given him 3 months or so but that was horrific to see. One of life's good guys, known him more than 50 years.
