Im not fan of playing people out of their favourite position! Brown once match fit is perfect for that role, I think hes been unlucky that he was thrown in to the starting line up and he hadn't played a match for 9 months!

Hes a good players and once hes fit im sure well see that

Kisnorbo or Snodgrass would make great captains, but Kisnorbo isn't good enough to be there every week and Snodds is too injury prone. Clayton might be a good shout but I worry maybe he's a similar mould to Howson in that respect.

Elland, don't think we ever had the option last season. As far as I know, he was always going back to Villa after his loan spell. Pity, but c'est la vie.

    Morning All,

Been a while since I've been on here, work getting in the way or something like that! I've been trying to keep up with reading threads, just not had much time to post!

I'd agree about getting Lichaj in, Connolly is just a bit too inconsistent for me. As for the Pugh argument that seems to have been spanning threads for a while, I'm tempted to agree that while he would be a useful squad player, I'm not sure he is the answer to our prayers. I think him at LB with White on the wing would be interesting to see.

Also give Lees and Kissa a run at CB, we need a consistent pairing if we are going to stop leaking goals. Hopefully AOB's wages will be reinvested, but not in another weak CB, either get a good leader in, or work with the better pairing of what we have.

We need to bring in promotion winners, not old makeshift patchwork players!

I'm pretty sure CM is Pugh's favourite position, like Hughesy was apparently actually a CM, who knew?

I'm hoping we switch back to a 4-2-3-1. Lees in for O'Dea. Clayton and Pugh as the centremids, with Howson, Snodgrass and Sam (cause he did get an assist and play 90 minutes last time out) roaming ahead behind Becchio. This will get the best out of Clayton, Howson, Snoddy and Sam, whilst Pugh gets to play in CM but can still cover for White's runs.

    The conventional 4-4-2 is dead.
