If he goes he's been great for Newcastle, but at his age and Livramento coming through it makes sense. You'd have enough expect Newcastle will sign a good player, but I hope its not Philips or Billing if we lose Trippier.
Sentiment aside - He's 34 in the summer. If we are honest - he has been crap all season and cost us games with mistakes (last week; Chelsea good examples.) Tino and Krafth can cover RB. It frees up wages and we get a fee. Allows us to bring in a CDM under current restrictions.
Hes definitely not been crap all season as he's got a tonne of assists but his form has definitely dropped off, I just dont count Krafth as an option as he never plays even when down to bare bones.
