Oh woah is us eh? Squad getting thinner, no sight of the cavalry on the horizon yet in the shape of new signings.

We come up against a tough test yet again this weekend. Despite Plymouth's lowly league position, just a quick peek at their last 6 games shows that they are a tough nut to crack, having lost only 1 in those 6 games.

Last time out (less than 4 weeks ago), we were of course held to a 2-2 at home, a game we perhaps should have won but got pegged back in frustrating fashion.

Injuries and illness are biting and the squad has lost a couple of players so Erol will have his work cut out with apparently only 15 fit 1st team players to pick from.

It's fair to say however that Argyle too have had their issues, relatively recently losing their manager and several loan players getting recalled too.

With tough fixtures ahead the Bluebirds could really do with the 3 points.

Apologies for the brevity, this weekend is Brizzle Junior's moving weekend to Asboville (or Lysaght Village as he likes to call it) so today and tomorrow are getting taken up with packing, loading, unloading and hopefully a few beers getting bought by him for Mrs Brizzle and I by way of thanks.....

Have fun chatting about the game folks........

Well done Brizz and thank you.
I hope the move goes smoothly along with the subsequent beers.
Here comes my kiss of death:
I can't see this one being in anyway boring. In fact I reckon a goal fest is in the offing. Argyle have been involved in some high scoring draws, wins and defeats. For us as already mentioned, much will depend on who is available.
    Could be fun.

Can City scrape yet another away win (it doesn’t have to be 2-1, an ugly 1-0 will do) or will they succumb to more January agony?

I’m sure there’ll be plenty of bluebirds fans in attendance to cheer them on!

I'll be there Ninian. Just having my breakfast contemplating the long drive down the M5. Hoping to meet up with a Plymouth residing mate before the game for a pint and something to eat at the Barbican.
It's my first visit to Home Park. Passed it several times before, when heading to the port to catch the Santander ferry. That reminds me, I'll be back again in September.

There’s a pair of classic Chopra goals and a Thomson beaut on the City website today. One assist from Whitts was top drawer.

I don't know, can't get the staff. Family business taking priority. Just not on!!!

Not really. Hope all goes well with the move and you can sit back at the end, enjoy some beers and bask in the rewards of a glorious City win.

    I can dream, can't I?

No surprises there then. Rino over Siopis might be a talking point I guess but on current form, perhaps not.
    It's gonna be fun.

Rhinomota not really a surprise given Siopis’ recent form.

Not much goal threat up top, best chance probably be from a corner again:emoticon-0138-think

We'll win this easily - and I'm not joking because I've got money on it..............<laugh>

Whatever others might have said in the past about Rhino, I reckon he's got the all-action engine we require in midfield.

Might not be particularly skillful (in fact he's not!) but he'll put himself about and never give up,

I'm guessing fullbacks are less expensive than strikers. So let's buy a right back. We've already got the striker.

Who'd be a Bluebird fan eh?
Never mind. There's much worse going on in the world to get upset about. And there's always the next game.
I'm pretty resigned to the fact that while Tan and his board persist in going fro pillar to post without a plan, then we're going nowhere in a hurry.
But we're Bluebirds and we'll continue to live in hope.

Terrible defending all round for the goals.
    Goalkeeper not good enough.
No ability to beat a man - Grant in particular.
No goal threat - Meite is garbage.
No creativity or cut and thrust.
    Another shockingly poor performance.
    Thank g we haven’t a game next week .
