I have to agree with you. And his history shows it apart from his initial first few games at QPR. Who are a totally different prospect to Rangers or Sunderland. Unfortunately I don’t think they will bite the bullet and get rid. Perfect storm brewing the next couple of weeks
It think they will. If we get a whooping off stoke and Boro the terraces will be too toxic to ignore. Season ticket renewals will come round soon and the brass won't want to go into that with apathy
Hate saying it My gut feeling is always to give manages time. But I hope you’re right Massive decision time if he does go. Can the regime that thought Beale was a good fit bring in someone who is. Bloody hope so
Aye! Probably a bit like my “black cats bar hull colours” tongue in cheek which gets lost in text on here!!
We'll have to stick with him for now. If we sack a manager after half a dozen games, who would want to come in to a club that does that?
I feel sorry (and at the same time, admire) all those who attended the game on a night of arctic temperatures. We all, and those especially, deserve much better performances. With the greater part of the winter ahead of us, I expect attendances to plummet unless something special happens in the next 11 days, either managerially or player wise. How many of those that will stop attending will stay away permanently?
Thought the “getting sacked in the morning “ chant was embarrassing, sad and pathetic tbh, but he didn’t help himself by picking players instead of a team Massive couple of weeks coming up, Speakman needs to pull a few rabbits out of the hat or i fear our season will fizzle out crowd unrest will unfortunately grow, then there is the season card renewal on the horizon which will be effected by our squad progression (not that i won’t be renewing but I’m a 64 year old brainwashed git)
Next two games are now massive for Beale. If we lose them both, or even just fail to beat Stoke, I think he will be gone.
Once the terrace turns there is rarely a way back. "We want Beale out" was canny significant last night
I find it hard to believe that we were lauding a young vibrant energetic team with high tempo and high press attacking football just over 10 to 12 weeks ago and now we are playing a slow defensive turgid style of football and the players do not even seem to know what job they are doing. I am a very positive supporter and could even rationalise MB appointment and have been waiting to see his effect on the firs team but the truth is we have not improved and seem to be doubling down on this defensive change which is producing worse results and worse performances. Last night it was more like a give it to JC and hope which is pitiful if I am honest and I fear MB may be one of the shortest appointments in our history. But in truth the problems may run deeper as I believe Dodds has been promoted from the youth team development where he was doing great and IMO have a growing influence on first team tactics and decisions which may well be causing some of the problems. Saying that though MB is head coach and if he wants to stamp his style then it should be stamped but I have seen little to no improvement to date and worry for our next few games and his position as another couple of defeats then our season will unravel and we may well be looking for another head coach to reinvigorate the squad. What KS and the recruitment team have done is so far pretty good but even he looks to be skating on thin ice with this appointment. Just my thoughts at the minute.
