A good coach makes the decisions to turn those fine margins in our favour. That's something that can be done immediately because you're reacting to what's going on in front of you in real time. Honestly, I wanted to give him a chance, but everything those who weren't happy with him on day one said would happen has happened. There's no point dragging this to its inevitable conclusion where we're in 18th place, the crowd has turned toxic and we're back to square one. He's gone in the summer anyway. Get rid now while there's a season to be saved.

Who's going to come to a club where the fans force the owner to change head coach after a month? The reality is, there's more to mediocre performances than the coach.
The fans can't force anything. However, they're the barometer of how things are going if you're the owner. Unhappy fans are an indicator of problems, and our fans in particular should be experts at spotting when a coach just isn't working. We've seen all this before - yes it's a bit of a speed run but it already feels inevitable at this point. Better to hold your hand up now, get rid and try again instead of plunging us into a near relegation battle and having the crowd turn toxic because you're too pig-headed to admit you got it wrong. We can either sack him now while there's a season worth saving or do the usual and get rid in the summer when all the goodwill has gone.
There are definitely other issues going on but he is still responsible for the tactics, lineup and substitutions. Or he bloody should be anyway, if he is being influenced on who should play then we are ****ed. Jobe being guaranteed a start is massively affecting our attacking threat and he needs to be rested. Pritch was having to occupy the right side just so Jobe can be in the team. That’s either on Beale or some other factor. I really think if Ba had been on the right and Pritch in the middle instead of Jobe we would have been so much better attacking wise. More balanced on either side and our most creative player in his best position.

Ipswich, we deserved a point. Last night, we were better than them - using xg to pillory the performance is ridiculous. It's not a great start, but ****ing hell, people saying it's the worst we've ever been in this division have clearly only been attending for a few months. Coleman Grayson Quinn (albeit briefly) All oversaw far, far worse performances than the recent ones. And booing a team filled with young lads because the manager has a mole. ****ing hell.
But there's a large number of fans who didn't like Beale as soon as he arrived. The last three games haven't been great but, the derby aside, they have been narrow defeats. A large number of those who want rid of Beale don't seem to want to consider the reasons behind some of his decisions. They just want proof that he's ****. I can assure you that he won't be making decisions that are harmful to the side for the sake of it or because he doesn't know what he's doing. He's still dealing with the same problems that Mowbray had and trying to find solutions. There will only be so many solutions that exist though. The shift in the shape in midfield showed that he's trying different things.
