Yep. That's how bad it is. That was the concern when he was appointed. Won't be told by anyone that we shouldn't be critical due to time. The state of us man , worst to watch for years.
It’ll be tough next week. Stoke have only lost 1 in their last 8 games and that was against a good Brighton side in the FA Cup (4-2).
It's gone very backwards very quickly. The whole cup game affair hasn't helped the feeling around the club either. I have some sympathy for Beale because this is all Speakman's doing - get rid of a decent bloke and appoint your mate because he has certificates and reads motivational books. Pair of them can **** off
They’ve had the beating of us quite comfortably the last 2 meetings too, not looking forward to it at all
I think the moment Gooch scores and Rory announces Soke's goal "scored by no.2 Lynden GOOOOOOOOOOOOCH" will be the moment the club folds
This is my worry no plan no method to the madness. Dull rigid methodical slow Looked like a training session everyone stuck in their little box Unfortunately he has form I’m really worried this is not him working towards some great style of play but this is it this is as good as it gets
Might give it a miss to be honest. The missus is out and I have childcare issues with my youngest. Might be the perfect excuse
Not true. We would’ve had to pay compo, which isn’t happening with KLD in charge. Cheap available option was hired, obviously.
I probably won’t go, much better things to do with my time. ST would go unused, it’s paid for now so who cares.
To be fair, we've only paid compo for a manager twice since McMenemey was sacked. Keane, Mowbray, Neil, Allardyce, McCarthy were all the fabled "cheap" option
Don’t blame anyone that stays away after that, it was the most 0-0 game I’ve ever seen and we still found a way to lose, impressive really
They all had a bit about them though. Unlike this clown currently in charge. It’s all just pointless - club have well and truly ****ed it.
Not read the whole of the thread so don’t know if anyone’s mentioned it but did Pritchard look like he was saying goodbye last night? Or maybe the extended clapping and waving was his show of sympathy for the fans.
We could be playing now and we wouldn't have scored. There was so many stats coming up every time we got a corner. I knew they were going to score on their first.
I hope the latter, but like someone mentioned previously, the shouting back at manager/dugout was telling.
Players out of position. Attacking shape all over the place. Pritch and Jobe picking up the same positions while a 6"5 centre back holds the width. No patterns of play, apart from pass to Clarke and hope he does something. 11 touches in the game for Rusyn. 0.77 xG in a home game against a team in poor form and with 7 first team players unavailable. Dropping players who are in form while starting players who are out of form. Throwing players under the bus despite Beale putting them in a position to fail. Mowbray deserved to be sacked and so does Beale. And Speakman, unless this is sorted quickly, needs his position looked at. Bite the bullet, get him gone.
I honestly believe he stuck hemir on so he would fail and use him as an excuse as to why we can’t score goals! he literally said before the game he’s not fit and good chance of going out on loan then slings him on for 10 mins when we need a goal mental.
Seelt was good again last night. He's better on the ball than I thought he might be as well. He deserves a chance at CB.
