Captain Coyle - heart of a lion, so proud that he’s one of our own, and he shows it every game. Matty Jacob - might have solved our LB issue, looks comfortable on the ball and when defending for such a young lad. Fabio Carvalho - teamed up with his Liverpool compadre excellently for a moment of pure magic.
The Tufan booking was bizarre. He fouled someone, then the ref pointed the other way i.e. for a free kick to us. I think he then tried to take it and got booked for time wasting. Dunno if the ref had told him which way the free kick was, but he definitely pointed the wrong way as I remember thinking that was a slice of luck for us.

Coyle - Almost single-handedly nullified their main threat. Pretty handy going forward too. Carvalho - Goals win games. Showed enough quality to suggest he may make the difference this season. Jacob - Solid defensively, always showing for the ball and should have been trusted with it more.
So frustrated watching that first half. Second half it dawned on me that the Hull lads, Coyle, Jacob and Greaves, really give a ****. It matters to them as much as it does to us! Smart decision by Jacob to slow the game even if he picked up the 7 th yellow! so 1. Coyle 2. Jacob 3. Greaves
Coyle Jacob Greaves Carvalho narrowly misses out. Thought Allsop looked alright but in truth he didn't end up with that much to do really. Big positive is how well Jacob is doing.
