Seems the Sunderland natives are losing paitience with Beale already...... Oh dear, never mind, how sad.....
Reported: Sunderland fans have turned on boss Michael Beale singing: "You're getting sacked in the morning", after Liverpool loan star Fabio Carvalho puts Hull 1-0 up. "We want Beale out..." Oh no…. Where the **** us loyalty and integrity these days??
From the BBC match report….. This was Sunderland's first home game since their FA Cup defeat by bitter rivals Newcastle United. It was an occasion most Black Cats fans are keen to forget after public relations mistakes in the lead-up, being outclassed on the pitch and watching their Tyneside opponents then celebrate at length afterwards. But they have now followed it up with two losses in the league. Michael Beale, who replaced the popular Tony Mowbray in December, has yet to win over supporters and indifferent form since has not helped to bring them on side.
….. l’m not normally vindictive but it is fun sticking the knife after what he did to us. I, like most others, took exception to what he did.
Of course I do dopey, I'm just answering the question. Hull have an owner willing to put money in and gamble on success similar to the Forest owner when they got promoted and since they've been in the Prem. Hull's owner has stated his ambition is to get into the Premier League. Forest may well come a croper of FFP like we did, as might Hull somewhere down the line, but that shouldn't stop clubs outside the big boys having ambition ffs or what's the point in even turning up every week. I'm sick to death about every ****er going on about FFP, it's the biggest load of bollox that's ever entered the beautiful game, rigged in favour of the very clubs that take the piss out of it the most yet never get even a tenner fine. Any club that dares show any ambition , and God forbid try to challenge the big boys is immediately hit with FFP, to put them in their place ! Entire thing is completely corrupt
We took our punt and failed miserably Hammy. Now we’re paying the price. Of course FFP is messed up. It’s not the theory that’s wrong it’s the idiots that run our game that are too stupid to implement it properly and fairly. Fans, clubs and owners are the ones who suffer.
I know FFP is at the top of our minds to a tedious degree, but is also true that regardless of EFL rules as a business QPR is ****ed. Showing ‘ambition’ means idiot owners throwing more cash away, which one day they will want back or walk away from, or creating debt. Whichever way you look at it we’re charity cases, soon to be packed off to the workhouse, the definition of undeserving poor.
Why don't you show some of your own ambition by donating a few million to the cause? PS If you choose to reply, please try to do so without insults.
Absolutely spot on. FFP is completely corrupt and favours the Premier League, who we know, would prefer to operate in a closed shop. It may not be ideal, but it appears that, these days, the only way a club like ours can hope to compete at the highest level is to take huge financial gambles. There are the occasional exceptions obviously, but not many.
I don't think that's necessarily accurate. There are owners out there that are so rich that they can afford to use sports club ownership both as an expensive vanity project and a loss leader for other interests. We had that once, but completely ****ed it up once we reached the Premier League. I'd prefer to give that another go, rather than lamely just accepting our fate.
How many clubs make a profit How many other business sectors are allowed to continue on like football
Unfortunately for us our ambition was in the Warbles season, when we were sitting in the play off places in January and decided to throw cash reserves at Chaz, Johansen, & De Weiss in a bid to finish top 6. Our pay structure went out the window and as we know we fell to pieces. Now we are paying the price and where we are is the reality of the situation, we are obviously close to breaching FFP limits, hence looking to get high earners of the books and no one coming in........ We are truly bunched, losing £2m a month as it stands and reliant on an owner continuing to fund the shortfall. Somehow we must find a way of staying in the Championship this season as TV money increases next season...... oh and we still need Eze to be sold for mega bucks to get our 20% of the fee...... Doesn't matter how much "ambition" we show at the moment, only 3 teams can be promoted and the way it looks at least 2 of those places will be teams relegated last season from EPL, it may even be all 3 teams.........
