So what are you going to do? Shout and scream until someone spends millions of pounds of their own money to give you the team that you "deserve"?
Yeah the Jobe situation reminds me of Neil too. The difference is we don't need to be playing him if we don't want to. I'd have swapped Pritchard for Rigg after 60 or brought on Hemir and left Rusyn on.
Every coach in world football other than a handful know they are at risk if a bad run of form comes along, even more so if every single data metric says we are performing poorly. Plenty coaches would want the job.
The Hemir for Rusyn decision was already made before the goal. To suddenly change that decision would have been a reaction, not a plan. I don't have too much of a problem with that or with bringing Ba and Pembele on, though he left all of the decisions 10 minutes too late. Rusyn was completely ineffective for me. I'm struggling to see how he's going to make an impact unless we play 2 up top or play him on the wing.
I thought it was a mistake to sack Mowbray but it's now starting to look like a disaster. As Sunderland supporters time and time again we fall into the same patterns, "sell player X, he's sh!t" then we sign an even sh!tter player. We went from Darren Bent to Gyan to Steven Fletcher to Danny Graham to Altidore before we struck gold with Defoe. We have done this exact thing TIME AND TIME AGAIN. And you never learn. Sack Mowbray and get Pep, mate if we sack Mowbray you're getting Ian fvckiñg Beale. LEARN.
Could start by not hiring a clueless **** like Beale mind, wasn’t great under Mowbray but this is painful, no urgency what so ever 6ft 4 centre half playing right back, number 10 playing right wing when we have a winger and full back on the bench, it’s poor no denying that
Because I asked what he offers and you said a potential 20 million. So I’m asking, in your opinion, what have you seen that makes you believe he’s worth a potential 20 million?
6 league games and 2 of them being wins. I doubt any coach has been sacked for a record like that so early. After the slightly surprising timing of the Mowbray sacking, I think it would scare the **** out of anyone currently in employment. We might convince an out of work coach, but that's it in my opinion.
Well that was absolutely dreadful. Slow, predictable and absolutely boring to watch. Players out of position again and seemingly not knowing where they should play. I don’t know what the answer is but it’s not Michael ****ing Beale, he looks so far out of his depth it’s frightening.
This time last year I mentioned our Zip ability all over the pitch. We have totally lost it. I don't believe for one minute it's down to losing Diallo. I remember mentioning on here in pre season that our style if play looks completely different to last season. It stood out a mile. More long ball. Long diagonal balls. Slower passing.
