Away from home i would agree but not against a team thats out of form n struggling with injuries at home. We have to get on the front foot and attack them. We've been good at home this season for the most part so I want us to go after hull n put them on the back foot

Playing 5 defenders just encourages them to attack us

I think its worth a risk playing pembele, he will offer us something going forward but i also get why they would start seelt instead

I think his team selection could well set the mood for 2nite,a man on a galloping horse can see Jobe needs a rest hopefully we see Rusyn grace the pitch

How I would start to tonight, although I very much doubt Jobe will be rested. It’s like we are trying to shoehorn both Jobe and Pritchard into the team even though they perform best in the same position, centrally behind the striker.

I don't believe in these conspiracy theories and would normally tell you that was a **** comment to make.
However the game time he's getting, playing CF and sitting deeper than 4 other players. It's as if some other players are playing better than him but we have to fit him in somewhere to play.
He's an 8, if someone is playing better than him he should be left out.
It does feel like we are sticking with 3 in midfield to compensate for him. If MVila comes in where does jobe play, as Dan Neil has been playing more of the defensive role, but if YM comes in surely we have to push Neil forward.
If we do that does that mean Jobe gets pushed in to the 9 and our strikers get even less of a chance

It's amazing how Ba has managed to win the fans over in a fortnight ...

Looked good against Ipswich. Was taken off when he shouldn't have been. Has became a hero in the eyes of the anti-Beale brigade

Just been speaking to a Hull fan. His initial comment was "I hope you don't beat us more than 2-0".

3-1 to the lads, I’m about to get my winter Woolies on and head to the local.
Enjoy the match lads, I’m dressed like an Arctic explorer, it’s going to be a cold night at the SOL. Had a bit of a scare earlier, our lass hinted at taking a spare ticket I had !!! She would have twisted like f##k all game coz of the cold ! Thankfully my mate can make it now

I originally requested just a win and the points. Fk that Rusyn, Clarke, Pritch, O9 and Ballard to score.
Let's have a fab Friday evening everyone

I've got a spare ticket, LBW, so she can have that if she fancies using it :emoticon-0105-wink:

There are probably a few spares 'cos of the weather, but mine's available, lads :emoticon-0148-yes:

The lad has been playing in his best position and it shows in his performances, for me he's poor in the middle of the pitch but looks a proper handful on the right. He should never have been substituted last game.

He's inconsistent isn't he. Best take the Kipling approach and treat triumph or disaster the same with him for now I'd say :emoticon-0102-bigsm

In case it helps anyone, I bought some rechargeable hand warmers to avoid frostbite when I'm lifting weights in the garage, the pull up bar might as well be made of ice at this time of year, but they're canny for any time you're outdoors for ages.

About the size of an old fashioned mobile, stick them in your coat pockets and you've got warm hands all game.

2-0 to the lads. I don't think MB will risk not playing a striker after the chanting at the Ipswich game.

He's got cast iron balls if he goes with no striker!
