But you've said it was a fact that everyone knew.

Why didn't you post about the rumour, you didn't have to say you believed it.

Definitely. Why do you think the mags pushed for the full stand the way they did. Why did they get the scarf each, why did they take the picture at the end, why did they reject the anti Saudi flag display? Saudi are all about visual and optics that's how sports washing makes an impact across the globe.

All of those things above made that game even harder to stomach and still rages some now. It won't go away IMO

I suppose I am guilty of that. It does concern me though that people have it in for KLD over matters that aren't that important in the grand scheme of things.

My personal opinion on the BCB fiasco, in the cold light of day, is it was clearly a massive error in judgment. A **** up for sure. KLD has admitted as such.

I struggle however to be that bothered by it. Others are entitled to. And I’m a bit different as I’m not in the north east. But I’m pretty forgiving. Even if it was all KLDs idea, he’s owned it and admitted it was wrong. I’m happy to just focus on football.

I said others knew. Look they said it would happen and it literally did. Doesn't get more unequivocal than that.

So, if you were so disappointed, why didn't you post when you knew?

You posted an awful lot about it after the event.

Personally I don’t think the club could condone an anti Saudi message. Any political message really. If it was individual banners then fine, but a full display? I understood why they blocked that.

the full stand I don’t think anybody knows exactly how much control the club had over. I’ve read every opinion on that and nobody has any facts.

I hate Saudi sportswashing but I don’t think the club can be blamed too much for that without knowing the detail and context behind it. The BCB stuff is different tho (as I’ve said in my last post)

And I nearly stopped posting over it, because 90% of the time anything even remotely critical is jumped on

…and so it shouldn’t. Absolute shambles and a joke from SAFC, from the minute the draw was made.

Out of interest how many of Newcastle’s opponents since the takeover have had a stadium display denouncing the Saudis?

Most of the time, most people on here are quite reasonable and fair ...

... I think you're just avoiding the question tbh, as is Prehab.

I agree. Pure stain on the ownership group so far. Which is a shame. Very interested to see how tonight goes.

I wasn’t being facetious, was a genuine question. Was palaces a full stadium one or just some lads with a banner?

    our fans could do that?

disagree. You said why didn't people mention it if it was common knowledge. It was only the day before.

That's not true, clearly, which has been confirmed.

People knew , people spoke about it publicly, it became reality. Cold hard facts.

Yeh so in all seriousness, our fans could have had individual signs / banners doing it. I can completely understand why the club can’t publicly condone or facilitate them though.
