Good news there's interest in Lascelles and Manquillo, Hayden coming back due to unpaid wages out in Belgium could also mean he may leave on a permanent if the club will let him go on a free. Between the 3 of them though we'd be lucky to get anywhere near £5m and that wouldn't even come close to covering a loan fee for Phillips let alone any incomings but would be decent to save probably around 100k off the wage bill... The only way we can spend at all, let alone big, in the next 13 days is if a star name (who is fit) is sold - only a few players in the squad in that bracket currently and none of those we can afford to lose. Are there any others past Isak, Bruno, Botman who could fetch a decent fee (upfront) to reinvest? I'd be looking to tie all three down on new contracts personally but if you could get £100m for Bruno or Isak that goes a long way towards freeing up a chunk of wedge to go and pad the squad with so quality instead of just bodies.
Yet more joy of FFP. Keep Joelinton on new terms, bump other members of the squad up in wages to stave off more unhappiness and there goes a chunk of the Sela / Adidas money that we can't use on new players
