Good food indeed, Stick. Just a few short comments. Will have to swerve on the Cobra drink. I detest 'energy' drinks of all types, regardless of where they're from. The comment from UC on Naga food is interesting. Never heard of Nagaland before, and on looking it up, I see it is a tiny State in the far northeast corner of India. I'm sure their food is excellent and very spicy, as UC intimates! Yummy!
Backed last night at 7s and it looks the one to beat the fav with effectivly a 9lb swing in the weights from being less than 2l behind lto
Naga is one of the hottest chillies along with the Butt jolka and caroliner reeper . So not for the faint hearted.
Oh, my apologies, Stick, first thing I looked-up was those 'energy' drinks! I did not know of the Cobra Indian Lager, I'm sure I would like it! It would have to be good to beat Tegernseer 'Spezial' though!
Oddy, that's a shame it's not available in Germany, as it sounds like a perfectt Lager beer to have with a curry. However, was messing around with the Amazon site on another subject, when I came across an Indian Lager brand called "Kingfisher". Don't know a thing about the beer, needless to say, but have you tried that one?. Probably not a patch on the Cobra Lager, which certainly gets an excellent write-up from both you and Stick.
That was a screw-up by yours truly, Nass! Stick had to tell me about Cobra Indian Lager beer, as I had never heard of it.
Many English curry houses will have either Kingfisher or Cobra (either on tap or in the big bottles). Both very drinkable but taking Indian beer to Germany is the ultimate "coals to Newcastle". We will be drinking draft Memminger this evening
