Good in possession. Strong tackler. Has an eye for a pass. Maybe needs to read the game better but it’s hard to judge when he’s playing centre half. Midfield is his natural position so I imagine he’d read the game better from there.
Its a no brainer, we get Seelt in the back line and stiffen up the midfield, I cant see why they havnt tried it
Was going to ask for a weather update. Can go to this one but it is a 5 hour round trip, in the car, so no hip flask to warm me up. A few bevvies in front of box or arctic temperatures. Decisions.
You sound like me ... I'm going, not going, going, not going I sometimes go through that process until it's physically impossible to get there, then it's a bit of a relief tbh. And I'm a fully growed up adult human
Very light covering of snow around the stadium atm, with bright sunshine but it is very cold and frosty.
Love to see that team given a run of games , and getting as many subs involved as soon as is possible , with developement , and involvement the priority, dont think these coaches would agree but its time they took a good hard look at themselves , and the past few games before somebody else does.
Exactly like me mate. Only home games mind as I know the ticket will go somewhere else if I dont take it. When I have an away one I am nearly always on the road long before I really need to be.
No,it's his weakness. He's better when the play is in front of him...he's not good when he gets turned. I think he's playing better as a centre back alongside Ballard as we've seen this season. It's not been without its' problems, but, overall, not bad. The team spirit he shows is constantly evident....when Rusyn got his goal, picking him up and showing towards the South Stand.....speaks volumes. I think of Luke as a Bally.....not the best footballer in the team, but somehow just knitting it together....in it for the long term. Love the lad.
Bally was great for us in midfield and the position Luke would be in, most of the play would be in front of him, so I dont understand your argument. (I have a thick get out clause)
We werent a possession based team when ball played cm tho. In a possession based team your cms are expected to receive the ball on the half turn or with their back to play (the opponents goal) n these arent o9s strength He has been fine at cb for the most part, he isnt the answer for cdm imo - the issue is that neither is ekwah!! Hopefully get a cdm this window who can hit teh ground running
Hes good passing out from the back when the game is in front of him tho. Playing cb in a possession based team is very different to playing cm. Thats why he has been put there and in terms of passing out hes been good. He makes the odd positionally mistake defensively and isnt commanding in the air - but hes also not shocking at either
You didnt really answer what I said. Anyhow, I think its worth a try, because what we are doing at the moment isnt working
