I don’t get this, heard it mentioned by a few posters that we need a striker.

What we need and think we’ve possibly got now is someone to play behind TC to allow him more space up front playing balls through to him. IMO we could be seeing a new lease in TC and even Nahki when required to play. Rather than playing Knight out of position he will drop back further into his preferred position.

TC is young and will get better and better in my opinion, I don’t want another striker who’s going to force his hand when deciding to stay or not.

Nahki gave them something to think about.. more game as a sharpener, and he could get a few goals before EOS

TC will inevitably be sold at some point fairly soon
In the meantime it would be good to see someone come in alongside him
I don’t think Wells or Cornick are that person

Does anyone know why we’re playing the next round on a Friday night? That’s a bit of a bu**er for us, it’s not like it will be live on tv with Chelsea v Villa and Spurs v Man City on the same night.

Must say that there has been much comment that Joe Williams should have been red carded for his tackle on Benrahma, and I would tend to agree. however if Tommy Conway had gone down in the third minute when Fabianski caught him, not only would City have had a penalty but Fabianski would have been red carded.

If there was an attempt to play the ball or a challenge for the ball and a penalty is awarded its a yellow card. If the foul doesn't deny a clear goal scoring opportunity, a player is heading away from goal the ref doesn't have to give a caution.

Wells is a expensive luxury needs moving on-brings nothing to the game just like Weimann -Brutal I know but it not worth his wages.

I don't think the keeper touched TC, he stumbled as he 'got' there...... and Zouma massively at fault.

He didn't, but, it looked like he touched him until you see the slowmo replay, but with no VAR I reckon the ref gives a penalty there.

I disagree, never used to like him, but works his socks off and knows how to finish, given the service

Wells works hard but he's not a clinical finisher.

Wells has never managed to regain the form he was in when LJ brought him to us.
At that time he was the top goal scorer in the league in a very poor QPR side.
    We de-skilled him!!!!

Didn’t the cat jump into his foot multiple times? Was it caught on VAR do we know?
