I'm with you on this one. Worry about why he's had no club all season, and how quickly he can get up to speed to have the impact we want.

BUT if it comes off I'd love it. Could be a match made in heaven if he's up to speed quickly.

The only thing for me is we have to have another option. I bet if you looked at possession stats only a tiny number is in the front third. You have to retain the ball there to put pressure on.

Yes mate. Absolutely. I like Moore in some ways, just his speed of movement a bit of a worry. He will occupy 2 centre backs though and the ball will stick.

Makes sense if so. I would prefer someone who can be a target men when needed, but has more to his game than that. Keep saying it but Ryan Hardie would be a target for me. Can play with his back to goal, stong and quick, runs behind really well and is a hell of a good finisher. I think it was Clocky who said he is the nearest to Stewart who has played against us and I would agree. Maybe he is just too difficult to prise away, or the club dont rate him, but I could see a better fit there than Moore. As always just an opinion.

I'm same as you. He's 33, hasn't played in months and I'm just not sure he will be the player we want him to be. I also wonder why he's not had a club for a while also. If he's that good, surely someone in Europe goes for him. Let's hope I'm wrong

He’d be a great option but long contract and 26 mean a hefty fee for someone who’ll have no big sell on in 3 years.

Well he was playing Europa league football last season and in the Greek first division.

He's a class act and loves the place, got me buzzing this

What I hope doesn't happen is that we drastically move away from a model that is serving us fairly well despite what the naysayers say. I'd hate us to pay a hasbeen 30k a.week as a pr exercise.

Yep same, i only watched him twice last season so hard to say whether he still has it or not. From those 2 games he would struggle to make a positive impact in the championship for us however, they might have been his bad games that i jsut happened to scout

Im def not against the signing but some thinking he will jsut come in and dominate i think will be disappointed

If we do sign him itll be interesting how quickly he will get up to championship speed

Defoe was 39 and a striker.

Yann is 33 and defensive midfielder. Not even close parallels.

Yann played a bunch of games for a massive club last season.

He’s the same age as evans who hasn’t played in nearly a year, he has had a better career than evans yet posters are hoping for evans return yet and are wary about mvila, It’s a no brainier for me to sign him.

I still wouldn’t be shocked if a couple of youngsters for the 23s/fringe first team come in out the blue too

I'm not coming on here to piss and moan say about the "Model"..... but a 33 year old freebie that hasn't played in yonks surrounded in nostalgia is reportedly our "Priority" target? Loved Yan when he was 24 like. And I suppose.... hope he could hack the pace of the Championship but if Clarke goes, who does he pass the ball too? Not being negative, just a tad realistic. Naturally we wait to see if it happens first before genuine comment can be pass, as of now its all pie in the sky. We'll see.
