Wolves have been granted a 15%, 4,000-seat, allocation in the Smethwick End, resulting in the displacement of some home season ticket holders. Season ticket holders have until 3pm on Monday, January 22nd to purchase an available seat in an alternative home area.

Anyone who's been to West Brom will know that this is their 'home end' and has been for many years,.

…bigger allocations for cup games at West Brom have always been in that end though. The full stand behind the goal. Totally different scenario to ours. We ****ed up, simple as that. It’s a shame the fixture was a total shambles from start to finish. I’m sure West Brom won’t be decorating their ground to welcome Wolves, though. Never mind.

It's actually their 'home end' and where their most fanatical fans are ...

... no offence to our North Stand but it's hardly a cauldron of noise.

We sit in the North Srand and I agree with you - I see the South Dtand as the home end nowadays, where the daft young lads go to make a noise.

If SC holders were moved for a league match they'd have every reason to moan.

I've been away with Sunderland, for league games like WIgan, where home fans have been moved.

As West Brom know, and accept, the FA Cup means you may have to sit in a different part of the ground.

I've no idea why some Sunderland fans just can't grasp it ...

... although I suspect if it was anyone but Newcastle they wouldn't care.

Hard to disagree with that. The ground would be half empty in the 3rd round if it was anyone but the Mags.

I would prefer our supporters to fill both North & South stands like the Roker & Fulwell ends. Its a difficult one for the away support but if we got promoted we would be looking at a few thousand following from the Manchesters, the bindippers and a few of the Laandaan clubs. Regardless of where you put them no where is ideal.

Maybe the club need to invest in the same sort of retractable dividing walls that exist in the South Stand. Install these in the North Stand Upper and they could potentially flex the amount of away seats into the NW corner.
Needs to be properly investigated, but we should never see scenes like we did v Saudi FC again. The club needs to be more prepared

No . . . . 'away' fans should be in the SW corner alongside our fans to create the banter that's necessary to create proper atmosphere (that was ruined when some idiot decided to move them in the first place), especially as that end is perfectly set up for them, including plenty of space necessary outside for coaches :emoticon-0148-yes:

I know, it's the allocation I was referring to ...

... Luton fans turfed out of their end tonight by the looks of it.
