Why would anyone want a player who's happy sitting on a bench, makes no attempt to force a move and - when he has played - looks a shadow of the Leeds player? I mean, I don't have a scouting degree but everything screams "avoid" to me.
He looked **** when he played at City ... I think he's a two yellow cards quite regularly type of player under the new rules. This Ederson player is valued at around 30 million so why loan a player for like 30% of that fee for a few months?
As far as I understand it, Forest have 2 years of FL limits and 1 year of PL limits, so their overall threshold for this set of accounts is lower. £13m, £13m, £35m allowable for £61m total.
Only a few months until we here about the stadium development I believe shortly followed by an exciting summer transfer window.
I agree, all of a sudden he wants to play football and it so happens there's an international tournament this summer, Henderson is the same and Lindgard did similar.
It's not an argument though is it? They have to comply with a rolling 3 year, like everyone else - this won't be a surprise to them as each year they're in the PL, they are allowed to lose PL amounts. For the FL years, that allowable loss is less. I mean, it's pretty harsh on clubs coming up, to have to be hampered more than those in the league they're joining, but that's part of the whole problem with FFP. It's not fit. Good luck with Forest pulling that card though :/
Basically I reckon Freemen of the City will give NUFC land on the town moor for new stadium. Don't think current site is viable due to the costs involved. You'd need to knock the whole thing down to ground zero and rebuild. Where do we play in mean time? I reckon Leazes Park will wind up being ****ed due to some rare lesser spotted newt, some lesser shagged seagull and some 3 winged bats. If the club even hinted at leaving city centre area too many businesses would be in trouble, which leads itself to the fact that if its in the benefit and good of the city then the freemen can grant land.
Newcastle United are scouring Europe for possible midfield reinforcements with a move for priority target Phillips entirely dependent on the player convincing Manchester City to lower their demands. (i news - subscription required) The Magpies sent their head of scouting to watch Atalanta midfielder Ederson in a 5-0 win against Frosinone but the Italian club have no interest in selling the 24-year-old Brazilian in January. (TuttoMercatoWeb - in Italian) The Gunners have also been handed a boost in their January pursuit of Brazil midfielder Bruno Guimaraes, 26, following reports that Newcastle are searching for his replacement. (Football London) fs One says reinforcements and another says replacement, more bullshit and since when have Arsenal been interested in Bruno.
Ah ok,I thought they're looking for a forward, still bullshit though because they couldn't afford him.
