Because I think that will give him time to get up to speed and 'allow' Allsop to lose the spot gracefully. It might not be precisely two games, but my point is he won't be in for Sunderland, it'd be madness.

If Pandur gets registered, starts in front of 35k for his debut, is MOM and we win it then it would be genius, but also very lucky.

Yeah, I can't see it either. Tbh.

In fairness it's in relation to the 21/22 season because financial reports for 22/23 haven't come out yet, but it indicates that wages are pretty high in the Championship and 10k is relatively low.

I don't understand how it's 'risky' to play him now but in 2-3 games it won't be.

If he's too young, we shouldn't be spending £1.5m on him as that's a right chunk for a keeper.

I'm assuming he's training with us now, so they'll have seen how good he is already.

You don't just play posession style fly keeper after just meeting your centre halves with a handshake and playing cards on the back of the coach.
And how can you assume he's had more the 1 or 2 sessions even if your assumption is right and he has been here since Saturday?
Can we even train him without a work permit?

We're getting keeper mistakes nearly every game at the minute. If we have to go longer for the game, then so be it. We generally do with Ingram anyway.

If we wait another 2-3 games, the play off push can become so much harder. I don't think we're in a position where we can wait.

I think it's the same for a LB or a winger too. If either comes in before Friday, I think they would start. There's no time to wait 2-3 games for players to bed in.

Alsopp lacking confidence and Ingrams lacking sharpness.

Neither are poor keepers as championship squad players.
Alsopp a lot cheaper and Ingram might be worth more to a side playing a more direct style.

I've said before there's a lot riding on Pandur.

Think whether you start a signing from the off is fairly dependent on whether or not they even played in the division before. To be fair.

Personally I'd like to see Pandur come into the starting XI as quickly as possible. Both keepers are contributing a lot to the goals conceded at the moment and it doesn't seem to be changing.

If Pandur is the vocal type, he may even be able to help quell some of these pot shots from getting off before he has to make a save.

Ingram's recent lapses I'd chalk up to rustiness and Alsopp's I'd chalk up to having seemingly poor dips in reflex. Seems to get done by the early shot too frequently. Regardless of how much blame you put on the defense and midfield for not preventing them, a good few semi routine saves have crept in now and this has changed games against us.

If I were Ingram, my head would be on a transfer.

But with Pandur, do we even know he can speak English well enough, let alone be vocal to just come in and go straight in?

Bit unrealistic, don't you think? Unless the club know something we dont of course.?

Agreed. He doesn't seem to be playing for one though. Perhaps sounds harsh considering the style we play puts pressure on the keeper's role and he's more a shot stopper at heart.

And that's fine until he stops stopping them.

After that you've just got a **** stopper who's **** with his feet as well.

Ingram needs a move, and we need a No1.theres a hell of a lot riding on Pandur. This season or next.

You don't think actually training with the squad and developing an understanding with team mates might help?

Yes, but we're leaking goals. Carvalho was thrown in half fit and Philogene was thrown in straight away too. Granted they're different positions but needs must.

Yes and the goalkeeping one is costing us goals almost every game at present.

Think Rosenior publicly stating there will be a transition for him to play indicates it wont be long

Which is why I'm sure he'll be starting reasonably soon.
